So the elections are over and Bush won. Myself and most of my friends will be in a 4-year long depression over it...But to lighten it up a little bit check out this political porn. Naked women using their bodies to advertise who they wanted for president...how sweet is that? :)

Do something about this travesty of an election. If you have access to a Fax machine, send a fax to:

To: Ralph at BlackBoxVoting.Org
"Challenge the results in New Hampshire"
Sign your name.
That's it.
This organization thinks if we can get the ball rolling in New Hampshire, we may get a recount in 34 states.
DOOOOOOOOOOO IT.

Hi there!
I just wrote this to post in my own journal tonight, but I thought the people in this community might like it. It's about what you can do in the next thirteen days from the comfort of your own butt to help elect John Kerry. I'm not looking to debate or discuss the election, really. I just thought I'd put it out there for anyone who is interested. Plus I'm following my own advice, as you'll see at the end. Anyway, enjoy and pass on, or ignore and don't pass on. But have a fine day and don't forget to bring a friend to the polls on Nov. 2nd!

http://antibush.fateback.com This is a site with posters that you can print and hang up to help influence the vote. The posters include the address to the site so people can get the posters themselves and learn more information on the issues they address. Help us change some minds and change our leadership.

I saw John Edwards speak in Erie, PA yesterday, and it was amazing. He joked about Bush in the recent debate, and spoke about his and Kerry's plan for the future of this country. And.... THE FUTURE VICE PRESIDENT SHOOK MY FREAKING HAND!!!

| suggestions? |
[02 Sep 2004|08:06pm] |
Two questions:
1. Has anyone ever been to a Democracy for America Meetup in Buffalo? I've been on their mailing list for a while, but I worry that I'll be the only college-aged person there. Does anyone have an idea what they're like?
2. How can I get involved w/the Kerry campaign in WNY? I'm not outgoing enough to pound the pavement, but I would love to stuff envelopes, staff a call center, or anything else that needs doing. I really want to contribute something to this campaign beyond talking it up to everyone I know. Any ideas who I should contact?
Thanks. :)
