LADIES SECTION
The Ladies Section has over 70 members with a full program of golf throughout the year. There is something for any golfer – from beginners to scratch players.
NEW TO GOLF?
Come and give golf a try at Willesley Park Golf Club by signing up for a “Get into Golf” set of 5 lessons with a member of our Professional Team. All equipment is provided and is an excellent opportunity to meet existing members of the Ladies Section.
ACADEMY PATHWAY FOR BEGINNERS AND NOVICES
Interested in developing your golf skills further? Join the Willesley Park Golf Club Academy. This is a pathway created to take complete beginners to working towards getting your official handicap. The beginner level provides 5 monthly lessons during the summer and access to holes 1-5 to try out your new swing! At the Novice level, in addition to the monthly lessons, there is access to holes 1 – 9 where it is possible to obtain an official handicap.
The Ladies Section also has a buddy co-ordinator, so if you would like support out on the course, Academy members can contact them to find a lady to support you.

SOCIAL GOLF
The Ladies Section holds a variety of fun competitions on a Tuesday morning throughout the year. This is an opportunity to learn different formats of the game in a relaxed environment. The Ladies Section also has a full calendar of friendly matches against other local teams. This is a great way to play other courses in Leicestershire, Derbyshire and Nottinghamshire.
Willesley Park Golf Club also has a well-established mixed team that organizes matches during the summer season. Do not worry if you do not have a partner, since the coordinators can arrange one for you.
FAMILY GOLF
From April – September, there are Club competitions held every Monday, Wednesday and Sunday throughout the day. This is a wonderful opportunity to play individual golf competitions with another member of your family. There are also mixed competitions held during the summer at Willesley Park Golf Club.
