Willesley Park Golf Club

Winding its way through 230 acres of gentle undulating Leicestershire countryside, Willesley Park Golf Club in Ashby de la Zouch is the stunning setting for one of the midlands’ premier golfing venues.

The club is very easily accessed via Junction 12 off the M42, the course entrance is to be found on your left as you approach the historic market town of Ashby de la Zouch.

From the 1st tee shot, where accuracy is paramount hitting the ball through an historic avenue of lime trees, to the long and challenging 18th with its demanding drive followed by the green nestled within the backdrop of the clubhouse, a round of golf at Willesley Park will test your golfing skill in a haven of natural beauty.

Our course is set in the heart of the National Forest, with stunning views of the Leicestershire countryside. Willesley Park is a heath and parkland course which was first opened in 1920 and later re-modelled by the world renowned golf course architect, Dr Alister MacKenzie, the original designer of the Augusta National course in Georgia – home of the US Masters. Dr MacKenzie prepared a plan that was the forerunner of the course layout that is played at Willesley Park today, some 100 years later.
