Psalm 19:1--The heavens declare the glory of God; and the firmament showeth his handywork.

I wish to apologize to anyone who may be having trouble making comments on my posts. I appreciate your visit so much, and wish I could read what you have to say, but something is going on with my computer, and until I can get the issue addressed, this may continue. Please keep visiting! Also, often I cannot make a comment on some posts I look at, particularly those who ask for me to show I am a guest. I have noticed sometimes someone can only comment in the "Reply" section of another comment...if that's all that works, then that's fine! Let's keep visiting no matter what happens, and know we are touching each other with our creativity and thoughts and images even when we can't get (or leave) feedback. God bless you my dear blogger friends!

Losing My Dad

BERJAYA
On January 3rd we lost our dear Dad.  He was a victim of Alzheimers for many years and Mom had cared for him at home most of that time.  We, his family, were with him when he left this earth to be with the Lord. His funeral, a religious service and then a military one, was moving and so appropriate.  And we were together, and that meant so much.....

The funeral was on January 5th and Mom's birthday was the 6th.  That was hard but her daughters and grand-daughters were around her to love and support her.

Our wonderful daughter was here from Arizona...this is her Dad reluctantly saying goodbye to her at the airport several days later.  It meant so much for her to be here....

And on Good Friday, just a few days ago, Mom and I went out to the cemetery and placed an Easter lily on Dad's grave.  It's now been 3 and a half months since he left us.  We all miss him very much.

God's Plan

BERJAYA

Sometimes we don't understand the paths we are bent to follow in life.  We don't know why we came off the track we were supposed to be following and took off in a new direction, only to discover that it was the wrong move.  Then we have to find the right way again.  We are supposed to stop and listen carefully but sometimes we are too busy and hurried....sometimes we let our "want to" get in the way.  Well, I made such a wrong move recently, and our path has been awfully winding....we're working our way back!  I know God has a plan for us and that we will find it soon, though.  Keep us in your prayers.

We thought for a time that this was going to be the view from our new back yard.

And this would be the view from our new front porch.
God is faithful....Russell is still looking for work, and we are still waiting for his V.A. pension to start.  And we are still without a place to call home.  But, I am certain that our prayers will be answered very soon.  Hope you are all doing well, and are truly blessed.
