Chair Tie – Legs-Up ③
This tutorial was in response to one of our members asking for some ideas to do a chair tie with your partner’s legs up. Here are two ways to do it using nothing but easy ties!
Note that this position can be pretty stressful, particularly for the back. As always, work within your partners abilities, and constantly monitor for and numbness or cramping. If there stress gets too high or there is any sign of numbness, allow a change in position, release some of the tension. If they don’t feel better in 10-15 second, let their legs fully (and gently) down.
These are by no means the only ways to do this, there are dozens, if not hundreds of possibilities, but these should get you started.
A few considerations that sent in to this:
• You don’t necessarily need to anchor the chest to the chair, but I tend to like doing so. You can use pretty much any chest tie or box tie you like. A few good options would be the Bikini Harness, Star Harness, Shinju, Suspension Shinju, etc., or, if you want it more physically challenging for them, Gote Shibari, or some other box tie…
• You need to allow your partner’s hips to move forward on the chair seat a little so they can accommodate the position, but you will need to anchor their hips so they don’t slide off the chair.
You can use any waist harness you like, or even just a single column around the waist like I do below, then anchor it to the back of the seat or bottom of the chair back. You could also tie a single column around each upper thigh and then anchor each tail to the back individually … all sorts of options
• For the legs, you can either tie them so they are together (parallel or crossed) or separated. Tying them together requires more flexibility and will be harder for your partner to sustain;also, you will likely need to anchor to both sides of the top of the chair to keep the legs from falling to either side. Either way, consider supporting the knee as well as the ankle to help limit mobility and distribute some of the strain…
I show a few of these below. Enjoy!
For this tie, I used two 30′ (10m) and four 15′ (5m) pieces of Natural 6mm (1/4″) hemp provided by my affiliate Twisted Monk. Check them out for some amazing hemp rope!

I would really like to download this tutorial. As a $20.00 a month member it would be nice. This tie isn’t located in your videos. Perhaps it is to simple to warrant a video, but my short term memory sucks. I did some chair bondage last Friday night with my partner and just winged it. It turned out real nice. I got some compliments from people at the club and most important my partner and I had fun. This setup looks like a real good time, and I guess we can always bring you guys up and practice until I remember it. I’ve only been at this for about a year and a half so I don’t have a huge repertoire of stuff to draw on yet. Some of the people in the two clubs I belong to are amazing.
Yeah, I didn’t make a video for this one. It is more about putting together other techniques from the site. I’m glad that it turned out well for you and that you had fun with it!
