One of the Larkspur ferries (which run between Larkspur in Marin County and San Francisco) heads back to Marin as a ship is about to come under the Golden Gate Bridge on this clear and calm day. A bank of fog is building behind the bridge, but for now, all is clear and calm.
Although a fog banks hangs off the western edge of The City on the Pacific Coast, The City and the Bay are clear and calm this fine day.
Eureka, the first Zeppelin to fly in the U.S. since the Hindenburg crashed and burned in the late 1930s, is housed in the old U.S. Navy airship facility at Moffett Field on the San Francisco peninsula. Here, captured on camera by «Louis» on his balcony, Eureka flies over Alcatraz Island.
