So I thought of a new game and if you're a member of the Hideaway you should play it. If you're not a member you should join us and play it! hehe.

Ok, I thought of a new game. A scavenger hunt using our digital cameras. What we're gonna do is come up with a list of things you have to get a photo of, you get as many pics as you can and place them in a photobucket album we can all view. Feel free to include any funny stories/anecdotes about getting the photos as well.

So there ya have it. I think the list will have like 10 items and maybe 2 or 3 bonus items. I dunno yet though Im waiting for ideas to see what people come up with.

Ok, Trying to think of some ways to make new members want to join and stick around at the Hideaway.

Peter had some good ideas that he PMed to me.

~Bring post counts back to their rightful numbers.
now, I'm not sure what those numbers are anymore so if anyone knows that would be great!


~Lay off the Warnings. I know it's fun and all but it can be intimidating to people checking the place out and deciding whether to join or not

~Slow down on the in-jokes. I can attest to the feeling of not really belonging when you join a board where everyone has these enormous friendships and all these in-jokes. I tried to fit in but never felt like I did. I don;t want people to feel like that here.

I made some changes to the Hideaway today. I don;t know what it is but some things as of late have me feeling very bitchy.

A few of my changes are only temporary, I want you to know this before anyone goes all apeshit. Others are permanent, like Mel being made a Kick Ass Mod! Woot!

I' gonna leave the Sandbox open till friday then it goes back to being passworded with everyone being able to post and such.
