Community Intents and Standards:
This community exists to unite Lower Mainland occultists, magicians, and oddities alike. If you consider yourself one or all of these things, and even if you don't subscribe to a particular label but have an invested interested in studying many of the ideas or philosophies present in our interests list, you are welcome to join in an contribute. We are always seeking interesting individuals to play with.
Please keep the discussion on topic! Help us maintain content integrity.
On topic means that you should post:
- Questions or discussion related to topics in the community interests
- Postings about occult related events and meet-ups around Vancouver. Other locations may be listed if one is referring to a large-scale event that would attract people from Vancouver
- The secret alchemical formula to turn lead into gold [Whhhattt? Worth a try, win't it?]
Please avoid posting:
- Images of your occult inspired artwork. We love pretty eccentric scribbles and scrawls, but this is not the place for it. Images are fine only if they augment a post topic. [Example: a post about alchemical symbolism could contain images to reflect the concepts being discussed.]
- Personal gripes with other members. [Example: Arguing with someone about the interpretation of a gnostic text is acceptable, but a diversion from the matter at hand into 'This is jsut like that other argument we had where you were an asshole to me! You do it all the time! BLAHBLAHBLAH' ... is not acceptable.]
- Fnords. You know they eat souls, don't you? ;)
