Hi ! I've just joined here it seems this is the only *UK Lost Community* anyway ive been watching it since the 2nd episode i think and I watch it every Wednesday on E4 without fail. I wont be posting any spoilers cos I dont know any as it would spoil the whole series and what's the point in that ?? x Ashleigh x

Hello. I'm new here so I thought I'd introduce myself :)

I'm Emma and I'm a huge fan of Lost. I wanted to join a Lost Community but not the US ones because I don't want to know what happens - I'd rather wait and see.

So, anyway, hello :) Looking forward to seeing Series 2! Only a few months to wait... :\

i have been pondering john locke, the 17th century philosopher, writer and political activist. and wondering how much of his work maybe a link to the show. maybe i am giving americans too much credit?? *grin*

but interestingly:
"Good and evil, reward and punishment, are the only motives to a rational creature: these are the spur and reins whereby all mankind are set on work, and guided." (Locke.)

considering what is happening to claire (yes i have E4, but i also have a job so don't watch it) i thought the good/evil theme was interesting.

also if you go to lost untold and look at the info on claire they show tarot cards - death (which actually means change not death) the devil (more about being enchained/unslaved than evil) and the star ( which i seem to remember is quite positive) i keep meaning to look up more through meanings but forget...

aparrently this episode is really creepy. I cant wait!
Im new here anyway. Unfortunatly, i stumbled accross a few us comms so i know a wee bit more info than I'd like. But I'm ignoring that and focusing on whats going on in these episodes.

Ok I know the link between the 2 is fairly well publicised but its still interesting to look in to, plus there doesn't seem to have been much talk about this yet although to be fair I haven't looked at many posts.

I have to say my favourite character is Locke he just has more awareness about what is going on compared to the other survivors who all seem a bit narrow minded.
"The problem isn't here! It's there! They've attacked us! Sabotaged us, ubducted us, murdered us! Maybe it's time we stopped blaming us and started worying about them! We're not the only ones on this island and we all know it!" - hell yeah! that guy rules. Sayid is another good character someone who isnt eaily swayed by the other characters too much. Anyone have any theories yet on the plot? we need to get this community going a bit :)

last nights episode on ch 4

hi everyone so i was watching last nights episode "house of the rising sun" and i have to tell you know I am becoming obsessed with kate and jack.. I thought it was interesting in the scene when the were coming back from the water run and she stops to rest.. asks him if he was checking her out to which he goes on to the whole moving people to water speach.
anyway her face was interesting and wondered what you guys thought.. i think it sums up their relationship and who elese do you guys like so far??

After a comment on my previous post, can we only discuss the Ch4 ep not the E4 ep maybe for people without E4, or like me find the staying up late option abit hard?

or make sure it says E4 in the title and put it behind a cut or something like that...
