This community is a place where you can request anything Torchwood (or Doctor Who) related that you are looking for. Some things that you can request are:: - A fic (post your bunnies here for adoption) - Fanart (looking for a portrait of Captain John, ask. Want somebody to draw art for a piece of fic you have written? Ask) - Fanmixes (Just can't seem to find a great Janet/Myfanwy mix? Maybe somebody can create one for you) - Beta Request (Need a Beta or somebody to Britpick a story you've written, ask for one here) - Memorabillia (Just can't seem to find a back issue of Torchwood Magazine? Can't get your hands on a Gwen action figure? Maybe somebody here has an extra one.) Please post all unrelated requests in seperate posts. If you are looking for some fanart and a fan mix, please make the requests in two separate posts. If you have two fics that need betas, that may be listed in a single post. |

There may be something there you can fulfill:) • How many requests can I post? There is no limit to how many requests you can make. Please remember though that all unrelated posts must be made separately. - In the Subject line, indicate that you are requesting Fic. Indicate the pairing and highest rating you would like. - In the post itself, give as much detail as you would like. Is there a specific timeline you want to read? Any prompts? Is there something that squicks you that you absolutely don't want to see? etc - Wait for a reply. Still unsure? -In the subject, indicate that you are requesting Fanart and exactly what kind of art you are requesting (Icons, Sketches, Art to accompany fic, etc) - In the actual post, give an much detail as you wish. Do you need your request to be a specific size? Any specific pictures or photos you want used? etc. - Wait for a reply. Still unsure? Check out the SAMPLE POSTS How To Request Fanmixes | - In the subject of your post, indicate that you are requesting a Fanmix and of what character or pairing you are requesting. - In the actual post, give as much detail as you wish. Do you want a mix revolving around a relationship in a certain episode? Do you want your mix not to contain spoilers for a certain episode? etc. - Wait for a reply. Still unsure? Check out the SAMPLE POSTS How To Request a Beta | - In the Subject line, indicate that you are looking for a Beta,the main characters/pairings involved in your fic and the fic's rating - In the actual post, give a quick summary of your fic. Let us know if the fic contains spoilers (at this time, the episodes in Children of Earth ARE CONSIDERED SPOILERS!). If your fic contains spoilers, what kind of spoilers are they? (characters? plot?) You may also give other details of your fic and specify what kind of beta you are looking for. (SPaG, Britpick, Characterization, etc) -Wait for a reply. Still unsure? Check out the SAMPLE POSTS How To Request Memorabillia | -In the Subject line, indicate that you are looking for memorabillia and what memorabillia you are looking for (Magazine? Book? CD? DVD? Action Figure? etc) -In the actual post, give as much detail as possible. Are you looking for a loose action figure? What magazine issue are you looking for? Are you willing to trade something else to receive the merchandise? - VERY IMPORTANT!!!! DO NOT exchange personal information in the comments. If you would like to reply to a memorabillia post, do so in this fashion:: First,Reply to the post, stating that you have said piece of memorabillia. This is VERY IMPORTANT. After this, you may do one of the following:: reply with your email for the original poster to email you, or send the original poster a Private Message. All sales/trades/gifts must be completed off community. Do not post any personal contact info (with the exception of your email) in the comments or posts of this community. - Wait for a reply. Still unsure? Check out the SAMPLE POSTS How To Fill Requests | Before filling a request, please reply to the requester's post. This is important to let not only the requester know that you are working on it, but to let the mod know as well. Also, this keeps multiple people from working on the same request. However, if you read a request for a fanfic and it has already been commented on, don't let that stop you from giving it a go. Different writers often see things differently and wouldn't it be nice to give the requester more than one fic based on their specifications. Still, don't forget to comment! After claiming, let us know what you claimed HERE When accepting a request, PLEASE only take on what you can give to the requester in a reasonable amount of time. There are no deadlines, but please do not accept a request if you can not fulfill it. However, if something does come up that prevents you from fulfilling the request, let us know HERE. Once you are ready to share, please do the following:: • Make a public post in any journal of your choice. • Reply to the original request comment with a link to that specific post. • Drop the link in our filled requests post. • Your link will be featured in the next round-up post, thank you!
