The Trans Melbourne Gender Project is a community based support and activism collective. Our focus is on gender - transgender, transsexual, genderqueer, intersex, gender diversity in the broadest sense of the term.
We are a community for all Victorians who are in some way outside the gender mainstream, our partners, friends, families and supporters.
Our current projects include an indymedia-style self publishing website (www.melbournegender.net), organising fora for discussion, and social and activist support. We organise through our yahoo group and regular meetings, but this space is available for members with livejournals and other interested people.
