Hey guys! If you didn't know, The Knives are about to kick off a US tour through the summer and they are having some trouble booking gigs. Jonny and Le'Von are handling the booking themselves, and there are still a TON of dates open. If you know of a club or event in your area that they could get in on the lineup for, contact 'em through their MySpace at www.myspace.com/theknives and let them know. Let's spread the love and help the boys get some exposure! They're playing two gigs here in Central Texas, one in Harker Heights and one in Waco. If you live in those areas, try and make it if you can! Check their MySpace for touring info and see what you can do about getting them closer to your own areas! Show the love, and keep killin' for rock and roll!

So, I was thinking maybe to get to know each other we could post like a little intro thing, just so we all know who's who. You can do a separate post, or comment on this entry, whatever you want.

How'd you get into the Knives?: Saw them on the Rock Adio tour in Nov. '05, and fell fucking in love. I met Le'Von and Scott behind the venue before the show and they were both -really- fucking nice, and during the set Le'Von dedicated "Can't Find Forgiveness" to me,  bleak_galaxy, and ivan. Their set was so amazing that right after the show I went to the merch table, bought Skin Flicks, and talked to Le'Von. Then we swapped contact info because I work for a magazine ( claviclemag) and I wanted to interview him. The rest is history.
What's your favorite Knives song?: Probably "Can't Find Forgiveness" or "Skin Flicks" just because I love the lyrics to both of them, "Skin Flicks" is so dirty and just sort of sexy.

I have a ton more of the rest of the band (except Jonny, who's really good at hiding behind his drum kit!) and I'll post them in the next day or two.

I havn't been fortunate enough to see The Knives in concert as of yet, so I was just wondering what they were like live. So if anyone HAS seen them live, what was the experience like?
