Hello all. I just discovered Leverage and I am really enjoying it. I'm hoping to get some recommendations to start me off in the fandom. There are several tropes that I'm familiar with from other fandoms that I already hope I can find. So, here's the list:
1) The best, must read, most recommended fics in the fandom. Your absolute favorites, that you feel should not be missed. While I love the whole team, so far Eliot is my favorite. So I'm looking for either the-team-as-a-whole-centric or Eliot-centric. I'm looking primarily for gen, but I haven't established any likes or dislikes yet pairing-wise, so if there is a particularly good fic that has a pairing in it, feel free to send it and I'll give it a try.
2) Smart!Eliot. Times when he shows impressive knowledge outside of his canon-established skill sets. I'd especially love if he showed off crazy computer skills and totally baffled everyone. I know canon has him not being very good with computers (not liking to type, only just learned copy and paste, etc - I am only on the first season, so this might change later), but they haven't known each other for that long when my above examples are discussed, so maybe he just isn't about to tell them everything yet. Just show me Eliot with a crazy powerful brain.
3) BAMF!Eliot. Enough said.
4) Stone cold killer Eliot. And not back when he was with Damien. Canon timeline, working with the team. He loves them, but the rest of the world can burn for all he cares, just so long as his people are safe. He just hides it well. Maybe something happens and he's forced to kill someone in front of the team, or maybe it's a character study with him thinking about how the rest of them can't find out because they're all such good, caring people, or maybe it's just a look at stuff he's doing behind the scenes and why and how he's covering it up so the team never finds out how far he'll go to keep them safe/make them successful. Or hell, maybe he doesn't actually care all that much about them, he just chooses to stay with them because he enjoys the challenges they find him.
5) Pretty much the opposite of #4. Eliot caring way more than he shows. Again, maybe a character study or a longer plot-fic that somehow brings it out, whatever. Just give me warm, cuddly feels!Eliot.
6) And finally, crossover fic! I love crossover fic, in any fandom, and this one has so much potential. I've seen some Angel/Buffy crossovers and a few SPN crossovers so far. I'll take more of either of those, but I would also love: Teen Wolf, Avengers, The Sentinel, NCIS, Criminal Minds, Hawaii 5-0 and Mag7. Especially Mag7 - Eliot does some things that make me think of Vin from Mag7 and I would love, love, love to read fic where they're related, or at least friends. While the ones listed here are my main fandoms, I read a few others and have a passing familiarity with a few more beyond that (mostly gained from crossover fics), so if there is a crossover you particularly recommend that is with a fandom that isn't listed here, feel free to rec it anyway. There's a pretty good chance that I am at least familiar enough with it to get by.
I know that is quite the list, but I'm really excited to get responses to at least a few of these. Thanks so much for your help!

I'm binge watching Leverage, and my all time favorite thing to crossover things with is Harry Potter. So I would appreciate any fics that involve Harry being paired with any of the main male members, but not where Harry is a girl or they are, I don't really like those. Specifically Eliot/Harry but also Alec, Nate, Sterling. Any of these with Harry. I've only come a crossed one so far and it only had two chapters. Any would be great, thank you in advance. :)

I'm looking for any and all Leverage fics that deal with the team coming into conflict with law enforcement, the government, etc. Bonus points for outsider!POV and OT3-centric fics (gen and otherwise), casefics, and fics where the other guys are honestly convinced that the Leverage team is bad news.

Along the same lines, I'll also welcome crossovers with shows like Bones, Criminal Minds, NCIS, White Collar, Prison Break, Grimm, Burn Notice. Anything that fits the above points.

Okay, so I read this fic where Hardison and some white guy are brothers because they were both raised by Hardison's canon foster mother 'Nana' and Hardison calls his brother in for help during a case. I think it might an Inception crossover, or Losers - but I can't remember.

I just remember Hardison brought in his brother (or the brother might have brought in Hardison?) to help with something, and everyone was suprised because the brother was white.

The thing is, I'm already completely obsessed and have read most of the completed stories in the Leverage FF.N archive. I'm sure I've missed a whole bunch from LJ and other archives, so I was hoping you could help me out.

I'm looking for gen, mostly, but I'll read other stuff if it's mild or really, really, really, really good.

Specifically, any fics where one of the team members die? I've read a couple (I think 3?) but they're pretty rare. I'd love to read a nice long one, but a short one is perfectly fine. Sickness, injury, I don't care.

Also, wee!Eliot is adorable. Period. Wee!anybody fics welcome as well.

Oh yeah, I read one story/verse? in which Eliot and Nate are (half)brothers. Are there any other stories out there like that? Or a cousin or whatever. Somebody on the team is related to another.

I've also read every single Angel/Leverage crossover I could find--literally scoured the internet--but on the offchance that I missed one, I wouldn't mind some recs. Slash is okay for this. Otherwise, I'd have nothing to read. ;D Oh yes, and I like Lindsey. He's a dick, but I like him.

I swore I had this bookmarked and saved in my memories here at lj and I didn't. It's a Leverage/Firefly crossover where Eliot knows Malcolm and they talk about some of the past jobs that they've been on. If you could kindly point me in the direction of the link I'd be most appreciative!

I'm looking for a crossover fic.  Hardison is breaking into a building to steal something off the computers when he runs into Jensen from The Losers who is also breaking into the building to steal different info from the computers.  They end up helping each other while Eliot worries about Hardison's new 'friend' over the comms.  The fic ends with Hardison being impressed that Jensen can grift, repel and hit in addition to his main role as hacker and Hardison refers to him as the Super-Skrull.  

Any help finding it would be greatly appreciated!

Hey everyone. I'm looking for a fic where the whole team are werewolves and someone (I wanna say Sterling) sends Nate to be alpha of this rag tag group of wolves who either were kicked out of their old packs or they're new to this whole wolf thing. Um, what else can I remember...oh yeah! Eliot becomes Beta and Aimee is in it at one point and says some mean things to Eliot. Any help would be appreciated. Thanks a bunch.

Hey folks! <3 A while back I read a White Collar/Leverage. I've since tried to find it... and failed. It had Neal, Burke, and Eliot, and possible a few others near the end. If I recall, it involved Eliot busting in somewhere and ending up on the same job as the FBI. Or at least in the same vicinity as the FBI, I'm a little fuzzy on the details. At some point the fact that Eliot is wearing an ear piece comes into play and he pulls it out. :) I appreciate the help, guys! <3

Hello everyone! Sorry for the spamming of the comm I'm about to do--I'm working on making a large recs list of Leverage fic and evidently my bookmarks aren't as complete as I had thought they were :(

I'm looking for a fic (possibly was a series of two ficlets?) that crosses over Supernatural and Leverage. It was set when the boys were ~8ish years old. I think it was told from John Winchester's POV. Upon leaving a town, John notices that the Impala is dragging a bit, like it's weighed down. Later he hears Sammy in the bath talking to a girl (but there's no EMF or anything, so John assumes Sam has an imaginary friend). Turns out it was Parker, who was escaping her house (probably because they were abusive). At one point while shopping with John, Dean notices Parker's face on a milk carton as a missing child and says something to the effect of 'isn't that the girl from next door at the last town we were at?' There's a scene towards the end where John has to convince Parker that it's okay for her to come inside the hotel room with the boys and him rather than sleep outside in the car during a winter night. The fic is gen (obviously) and rated something tame.
