Sooooo Friday (tomorrow)...
This is just in, but a shitload of Cartridge Family side projects are playing Gone Wired Cafe starting at 9pm (still in time to go to the LaSalle cd release at Mac's)...a bit of a showcase even... This may include, but not limited to, Cavalcade (?), The Kid's Got Guts (?), and the one for sure is the crust punk (haha, yeah SERIOUSLY), band that me, Horky, Ozzie and Joey just started, Smashing Blumpkins. I don't know if that will ever play again. I can't guarantee any of this will be good, but it will definitely be entertaining. Gone Wired Cafe 2021 E. Michigan Ave 9 PM, Friday (tomorrow) Smashing Blumpkins + Family showcase?
Then Sunday (Devil's Night) of course there will be some lives to save:

I can't stress enough how bizarre this is going to be (and in a totally different way than you're used to with tCF)

hey everyone!
hope you've had a great new year so far. we've been hard at work on new songs and setting up some tours so hopefully we'll be hitting your neck of the woods pretty soon here. first off, sorry about the lack of a december update but everyone was to busy with work and holidays and shit that we never got around to it.
North Lincoln - "Truth Is A Menace" LP/CD from No Idea Records
yeah, the album is finally out! yay! after some pushbacks and some printing fuck ups it's all good to go and we should be getting our copies shortly, but for now you can only get it from NO IDEA.
we're going to be hitting the road in march with our buds and label mates GLASS & ASHES from California. it's our first time out since october so come and party with us! this is how it loods so far...

we're hard at work on writing songs. we have about 7 as of now and working on some covers to record along with the demos of the new songs. our next release should be a split 10" with THE PINE from bakersfield, CA on Meanful Records. neither of us have recorded yet so don't ask any questions about it for a little while.

Honestly, who are you to deny a show with not one, but TWO posters this hottt made in its honour?!!!

Soooooo...
Another all-ages show at the Bermuda Rectangle tomary (11/5) starting at 8pm-ish.
117 S. Homer St. Lansing, MI 48912 (517) 333-6638 with questions.
--Gogglesphere (the best drummer in the free world is the reason you want to check out this band...even if you don't play drums, he'll make you want to quit music)
--Red Swan (Lansing kings of old-timey stories told over swampy old-school Touch & Go type music)
--Funender (maybe Lansing's most underrated band...in this dude's opinion, at least...angular punk w/ more insane fretwork than anyone else I've seen lately -- touring or local)
--t.b.a. (meaning if you bring out some people and come w/ instruments and band, this could be you)
Also, Lansingscene.com is back in effect...check out the haps on future Bermuda Rectangle all-ages fare as well as links to the websites of upcoming acts.
