corey has said we will have to waite to years for the next slipknot album as he is working more on stone sour
prome days are comeing on the 22 of july aroud the uk for the new album
corey did a radio interviwe last night on bbc raido 6 go to the web stie as i think u might be able to hear it agin
the listing party was amzing by the looks of it every one liked the new album i was there so i know
and hi im new so i though i just give some news to u all

STONE SOUR frontman Corey Taylor (SLIPKNOT) has posted the following message regarding the band's happenings:
"HELLO KIDDIES!!!
Well, it's been nearly 3 years (for obvious reasons), but the wheels are starting to turn slowly on the machine that is Stone Sour! Updates galore and more in store as we begin the pre-production process, so listen up.
- Dave Fortman (MUDVAYNE) has signed on to produce our sophomore album.
- Recording is set to start Jan. 25th, 2006 in an undisclosed bunker somewhere in America.
- 30+ songs/demos have been written, with a lot more to follow.
- Hopeful to tour starting April/May '06.
The five of us are really fuckin' stoked to begin. In fact, when I called them, my cohorts were really enthusiastic about talking to me...

Despite Stone Sour being on hiatus due to recording commitments with Slipknot, the band are set to release a digi-pak album in late Oct/early Nov. The artwork will be a photo negative of the existing cover art, and the release will contain a double disk. The track listing is as follows (song order subject to change):

the best part was when corey cursed out some guy who said 'sellout' while he was setting up to play bother.

Hi everyone, im new here, i just got stone sours album 2day and i LOVE it!!! Corey sounds much better when hes actually singing rather than screaming, although i am still a fan of Slipknot :)
