Voting Precincts

St. Michael is divided into four separate precincts for voting. Above is the map showing the precinct boundaries as well as the four polling places. If you are interested in serving as an election judge, please contact City Clerk Diana Case at dianac@stmichaelmn.gov.
- Precinct 1 | STMA High School located at 5800 Jamison Avenue NE
The part of the City lying east of Iffert Ave NE, west of CR 19, north of Central Ave W/Kahl Ave NE/30th St NE (from CR 19 to Jamison Ave NE), west of Jamison Ave/17th St NE/Jaber Ave NE, and north of PIDs 114-500-284101 & 114-500-284102. - Precinct 2 | STMA Middle School East located at 4862 Naber Avenue NE
The part of the City lying east of CR 19, north of Hwy 241 (Central Ave E /42nd St NE), and north of the Crow River between I-94 and Hwy 101. - Precinct 3 | STMA Elementary School located at 101 Central Avenue West
The part of the City lying west of CR 19, south of Central Ave W/Kahl Ave NE/30th St NE (from CR 19 to Jamison Ave NE), east of Jamison Avenue/17th Street NE/Jaber Ave NE, south of PID 114-500-281100, and west of Iffert Avenue NE. - Precinct 4 | St. Michael City Hall located at 11800 Town Center Drive NE
That part of the City lying east of CR 19, south of Hwy 241 (Central Ave E/42nd St NE), and west of I-94.

Vote In Person on Election Day, August 11 and November 3
If you wish to vote in person on Election Day there are a few things to know:
- Polls are open from 7 a.m. to 8 p.m.
- Find your polling/voting location
- In Minnesota, you can register to vote or update your voter registration at your polling location on Election Day

Vote In Person Before Election Day
Any Minnesota voter can apply to vote early in person. Absentee applications are available at City Hall. You will receive an absentee ballot on-site to vote.
August Primary Election- June 26 - August 10: St. Michael residents can apply and vote in person with an absentee ballot at St. Michael City Hall during regular business hours (M-TH 7:30AM-4:30PM, F 7:30AM-1:30PM, CLOSED HOLIDAYS)
- July 24: Early balloting begins. Voters can check-in or register at city hall and place their ballot directly into the ballot counter to be counted immediately
- Additional Times:
Date Time Saturday, Aug. 8 9 a.m. - 3 p.m. Monday, Aug. 10 7:30 a.m. - 5 p.m.
- September 18 - November 2: St. Michael residents can apply and vote in person with an absentee ballot at St. Michael City Hall during regular business hours (M-TH 7:30AM-4:30PM, F 7:30AM-1:30PM, CLOSED HOLIDAYS)
- October 16: Early balloting begins. Voters can check-in or register at city hall and place their ballot directly into the ballot counter to be counted immediately
- Additional Times:

Absentee/Mail-In Voting
Any Minnesota voter may apply to have an absentee ballot sent to them – no reason needs to be given, and the voter is not required to be away from their precinct on Election Day. Absentee ballots can be returned by mail or dropped off at St. Michael City Hall. There are only a few steps to take when voting absentee:
- Request an absentee ballot at www.mnvotes.org.
- Once you have your ballot, carefully read the included instructions on how to complete the ballot.
- Return the ballot to St. Michael City Hall or mail the ballot back to Wright County as soon as possible. It will be opened and counted within a week prior to Election Day.
- You can apply for a ballot any time during the year, except the day of the election. Leave time for election officials to mail your ballot. Your returned ballot must be received by 8 p.m. on Election Day.
