Typing Fest showcases games where your keyboard skills really matter, and in Zombie Typing, everything is driven by how well you type. From moving and looting to defending yourself against the undead, your words are your weapons.

The game blends typing gameplay with survival, building tension as the pressure ramps up and mistakes become more costly. It’s all about staying calm, typing fast, and surviving one letter at a time.

About The Game

I’ve been making solid progress on development, and this demo level is designed to give you a strong feel for the game’s atmosphere, mechanics, and overall vibe.

The full game will expand on this, with more content and more features; all staying true to the typing-meets-survival mashup.

Zombie Typing

Very nice game, but could it have "easy"mode?

I very much like it, reminds me other such game i played many many years ago which i have not found since (likely it would not run on modern systems anyway) ... but since i am bit rusty in touch typing, could there be some 'easy' mode added please? In any form ... maybe just like that backspace (or maybe Esc instead) would erase the whole word currently typed (with mistakes). And possibly that names of rooms/locations around corners (through other rooms) wouldn't be visible, at least if the path was not c...

Hey all,

I just released a demo for my Zombie Typing game on Steam!

It's a zombie survival game with a twist. Every action is controlled via typing: moving, looting, reloading, fighting off the shambling undead etc.

You need to type fast and stay sharp, because one wrong key could mean the difference between survival... or being devoured!

Two Things

You can retype the word that opened a door even though it's no longer showing (or at least the one exiting the building when you're on the other side) and get soft locked. I thought I was so smart locking the door behind me because there's where the boss came from last time. He changed up, but now I'm trapped. Second, the heck's the wood plank for? I swear I typed wood in every possible spot....

Nice little demo, one thing though

Please make sure all words are spelled correctly in the final release, ran into a few that were misspelled and/or hit a character limit like "goodby". It should be "goodbye" but I noticed for the boss zombie he had longer words, so I assume it pulled from a word pool and it got cut off. There were a few others as well that were just misspelled....
