I recently have realized that I am likely a walk-in. I know I am not of a human soul, but I am confused as to exactly what I am. I believe myself to possibly from another planet, but at the same time, I feel I am very connected to tree spirits (if not am one).

I've written a book review of "Earth Angels: a pocket guide for incarnated angels, elementals, starpeople, walk-ins, and wizards" by Doreen Virtue, which is a non-fiction book about starseeds (here called starpeople... is there a difference, or is that the same thing?) and some assorted kinds of people who would otherwise be known as otherkin.

I thought of some interesting things to add to the community. please let me know if you want to add any ideas or if you like any of the ideas I mention in the post.

1. I will post spiritual exercises (ex..How to contact your spiritual guides , how to see an aura ,who are your animal totems...)

2. I am currently learning how to do tarot card and oracle card readings and will offer free readings soon . please be aware that I have only have done readings for a few people so far and that I'm a beginner at this.

3. I will post links to interesting articles on spiritual and such.

Topic: Gateway series
Cd used : Wave 1

Intro: I bought the gateway series on cd The Gateway Experience is a life-enhancing program dedicated to the development, exploration and application of expanded states of awareness. It's basically a hemic-sync cd.


First experince using the wave 1 cd for exerise one

Heres some notes on what happened to me during the exereise:

- First off my forehead and sides of my head felt pressure. It was a good thing since i felt more aware and focused.

- After that was over I saw swirling colors under my closed eyelids. They were purple and green

Then saw a silver-striped cat with dark silver almost black stripes on body which was next to a owl. Both were shining with the silver color that took on a glittery like glow. The cat was running and the owl was soaring. Both stayed next to each other till the image faded to be replaced by flashes of silver-white colors.

I then saw a piece of paper fill my vison and saw a drawing of a man with a cylinder of some sort. He was animated on the paper and he picked it up with both hands then placed it on a stand that was supposed to have it launch from where it was.

The image then faded and I saw more colors that swirled around in my field of vison. After that I saw lines of energy go across my vison of the left eye which after a few moments went into my right eye then after a half-minute or so the lines crossed to both my eyes. The lines were moving and wavy . They never stopped moving. I then saw more colors and then the exereise ended.


It was a very interesting expereince and I will addd more notes as i progess on more of the exerises in the series.

Good afternoon or what have you.

It has been a while since I have posted here though I have enjoyed reading the various thoughtful and interesting posts that have been offered since.

First of all, thank you all for the responses I have received to date. I have spent months compiling and working through the information collected from my last surveys numbering nearly 400 responses. The amount of assistance has been overwhelming and I am incredibly happy to see such a high level of support.

I also apologize for the level of crossposting but I do wish to get as many of the livejournal communities as I may for there are individuals who belong to only one or another but do not have huge mass membership.

Following is the last survey that I will need for my work. The questions are slightly broader in scope and several will require some thought. There is reason behind each and every one. I have spent the last month and a bit fine tuning the survey and adding questions after conferring with a number of very wise people (both otherkin and human).

I have had some strong interest in the book from several publishers and I am currently looking into which will offer the best price to the buyer as well as the widest possible distribution.

6:20PM - Two Simple Exercises to find your Totem Animal

I thought I might post this if anyone is interested in finding out about who their totem animal is:
I will post information on the different types of totem animals as well as what a birth totem or shadow totem is.
Here is the one Exercise to help you find your totem:

1) First off what animal are do you visit first in the zoo or aquarium?

2) What animal do you fear the most?

3) do you collect figurines or photos of a certain animal?

4) What animals keep recurring often in your dreams?

5) what animal do you see often when you are outside in the city,countryside or such?

6) have you ever been bitten by an animal?

Another way to find out:
You can meditate to find your totem as well.
You can use a drum, smudge ,candles, or meditative music to help you achieve a quiet state of mind. Do not worry if you can not find who your totem animal is the first time . It will show itself to you when you are ready.

1) take a couple of deep breaths to relax the mind...feel feel to take a couple of minutes to relax.

2) When you are relaxed follow a path to a cave which will have you wandering down its dark passageway till you see a opening at the other end to the tunnel.You walk out of the cave and see that you happened upon a meadow with a small pool nearby . You feel a cool gentle breeze as you walk to a bench near the forest that is a small distance from where you are. You sit down enjoying the scents of the flowers that are in the meadow and look around a little bit more. (take a few minutes to do this and see if anything stands out)

3) You then notice a mist forming in the meadow and the mist continues to form till you can not see the forest that lies in front of you. After a minute or so a animal appears to you. It can be either a land,air or water animal.
After you see the animal greet it . You may either ask questions like why are you here, what are the strengths ,weakness that it brings you and how can you overcome the weaknesses? How can you open yourself up to the strengths inside you? Another question to ask is how can you contact it every day? or If you do not know what to ask it you can also stay quiet and listen to see if the totem animal has anything to say to you or show you.

4)After you are done wave, say goodbye to your totem. Then get off the bench and walk back to the cave to where you first started your journey which was on the other side of the cave. take few more deep breaths and open your eyes.You are now back from your journey.

Hello.
I am both otherkin and writer. I have been aware of my personal differences for many decades and struggled with my own changes during a time when spirituality was centered around the community church. I currently live in the french part of Canada doing piece work and holding contract based positions. My research and interaction with otherkin communities has been leading to the eventual publication of a book focusing on otherkin.

I have joined this and other communities in order to research and collect information for this book as well as for my own natural curiousity. I do tend to lurk and read more than get involved in discussion.

HI everyone...

I'm surprised to find this, I must say.

My question is, what group of star people and star seed books is most often refered to here?
I began to investigate my 'lineage' through the books written by Brad Stieger...Star people and Star seed.
This was in the early 80's.

I am Linda, I live in Eureka Springs, Ark....now retired and disabled. I'm 56. But my whole life has been led by a passion for UFO's, etc interests, metaphysics, and about any other spiritual quest you might name. It's my life and my passion.
I first learned I was Star person about 1981. I took the questionair and sent it to the writers and got a hand written reply from Brad's wife, at the time...Francis, or something similar was her name. I had some questions about events in my life. She wrote me a lovely letter assuring me that I was indeed a 'Star Person".
The thing that always seems the most ironic about these books is the way they find their way to us.
A friend of mine found the book and after reading it a bit, she felt it wasn't hers, but definately FIT me, and brought it to me.

I notice there are more writers and more interest in this area now. Some of the new writers I don't know, but if you all recommend them, I'll sure check them out.

I can safely say, I can answer at least 95% of the questions with YES.
I'm psychic and an astrologer. I have arthritis and seem allergic to EVERY thing on this planet.

I've taught astrology, and made charts for almost 30 years.
One of the biggest UFO convensions is held here in Eureka, FYI.
They often have well known speakers and lots of work shops, etc.

Ive made a Past life session on monday for 2 hrs in new york city. I always wanted a past life regression and wanted a life between life session as well. They normally do not take take anyone under 30 yrs old,but if they do they recommed the PLR before the LBL to see if your receptive to the hyponsis and most of the time a guide will block anyone under thirty in a LBL session. Im hoping for things to go smoothly during the PLR so i can find out more about my life as a spirit in the LBL session. Its really quite interesting and for the first time I have no doubts about the sessions. I actually feel butterflies in my stomach.*smiles* I feel that i will learn a great deal from the PLR. I then hope to go for a LBL session after the PLR.
