Title: "Still Surprise You When It Shatters" Rating: PG-13 Pairing: Adam/Tommy Word Count: 620 Summary: For happy_1225's charity donation drive contribution - she wanted scarf!fic, and scarf!fic she gets. Author's Notes: Thanks to i_bleed_magenta for the beta! Title from Ben Lee - "Nothing Much Happens".
Title: "Be My Winding Wheel" Rating: PG-13 for language Pairing: Adam/Kris Word Count: 2,064 Summary: For orihara_kaoru's donation at the charity comm. The prompt she gave me: Kradam. Future!fic. They are married. Bringing their (from a surrogate) baby home from the hospital. She wanted lots of sap as well. Author's Notes: Many thanks to the lovely milliejupiter for her patient beta; blame me for any remaining errors. And a thank you to everyone who encouraged me to step out of my normal zone with this. And thanks to orihara_kaoru who was patient with me as it blew up from 'drabble' to 'normal-sized fic.'
Title: "With Feathers So Hollow" Rating: R Pairing: Adam/Kris Warnings: Religion? Unlikely to be your thing without temporary suspension of certain beliefs, if you hold those very strongly. Word Count: 4,205 Summary: AU for plaguedbymen (original prompt: Adam/Kris, angel/devil AU, didn't quite turn out that way) about free will, temptation, and ancient beings. Author's Notes: Many thanks to antigone921 for the amazing beta. I would highly recommend checking out the extended author's notes for my playlist and more information if you need more info about warnings. This is a repost - the original disappeared under mysterious circumstances and was no longer archived here. If you read it when it was originally posted in October, you can move on along. Many thanks to those who were able to help me recover this.
Title: "Like Birds Inside The Bells" Rating: PG-13 for language and the most vague sexual references ever Pairing: Adam/Kris Word Count: 1,645 Notes: For abh83 as part of my Dollar Donation Drive. She wanted a piece set in the same universe as "Even When You Are Not New," a previously written story for the same drive. No beta; all errors are mine. This is a repost - the original disappeared under mysterious circumstances and was no longer archived here. If you read it when it was originally posted in August/September 2009, you can move on along. Many thanks to littlepunkryo for helping me recover this.
Title: "I Know This Could Be That Freefall" Rating: PG Pairing: Adam/Kris Word Count: 1,144 Notes: For christig428 as part of my Dollar Donation Drive. She wanted happy Kradam. No beta, all errors are mine. This is a repost - the original disappeared under mysterious circumstances and was no longer archived here. All in all, my Dollar Donation Deals (caps are addicting, okay) raised around $150 for the charity project. This is tons more than I anticipated making, so let's give ourselves a big hell yeah!
I had never attempted an actual drabble before; I failed on all accounts there. My word count ended up being somewhere in the neighborhood on 1,500 words for every story, when my minimum word promise was 400. Oops. There were times when I thought I wasn't going to finish, I'm happy to say all deals have been completed; this is the masterlist. These are in reverse order of when they were completed.
Title: "A Book, Not A Page" Rating: PG-13 for language and very mildly implied sex Character: Matt Giraud Word Count: 1,677 Notes: Written for dreadnought for my dollar donation drive. She wanted to see more about my version of Matt from "Southside Of Heaven" and I decided to write the first half of his "origin story," if you will. You don't have to have read SOH to get this, but you'll certainly appreciate it more if you did. The fabulous milliejupiter took a look at this and pronounced it good.
Title: "I Want To Speak In A Language That You Will Understand" Rating: PG-13/R - implied getting it on but nothing major, IDK Pairing: Adam/Drake Word Count: 1,659 Notes: For rainmustfall as part of my Dollar Donation Drive (I'm willing to bet this isn't exactly what you wanted, but my brain took it where it wanted to go). No beta, all errors are mine. The house I used for mental inspiration in the story is the Adamson House in Malibu.
Title: Untitled Dollar Donation Deal Excerpt (#4) Rating: PG-13 for language (for this excerpt) Pairing: Kris/Adam Word Count: 819 Notes: For azrielen as part of my Dollar Donation Drive - she requested an excerpt of my Burning Man AU. What's posted below is just an excerpt (two, actually) - this portion is unbetaed and the story unfinished (and won't be finished for a while, but probably sooner than anything else not drabble-related).
Title: "How Do You Sleep While the City's Burning?" Rating: PG-13 for language only Pairing: Adam/Kris (friendship) Word Count: 1,643 Notes: For ncgrrrl as part of my Dollar Donation Drive. No beta, all errors are mine - I wrote all but 500 words of this on my Palm Treo, so they're likely abundant. BACKSTORY: We always make jokes about the Jim Cantiello interview where Kris talks about fanfic and Jim tells him that they involve Kris and Adam (paraphrasing here) "getting ice cream, going to the movies, being best friends, and saving a dying child." SO. When I decided to do the Dollar Donation Drive, the gauntlet was thrown down to see if I could actually make this happen in a believable way. So I wrote it, except I had to scrap the ending for the original version. Damn it. Enjoy 2.0.
Title: Untitled Dollar Donation Deal Excerpt (#3) Rating: PG-13 for language (for this excerpt) Pairing: Kris/everybody Word Count: 427 Notes: For wmelon_kaiye as part of my Dollar Donation Drive - she requested an excerpt of my escort!Kris AU. What's posted below is just an excerpts - this portion is unbetaed and the story unfinished (and won't be finished for a while).
