my goal in starting this community is to provide livejournal users with a place to post any news or articles that interest you. I want to create a place where people can feel free to talk and discuss hot topics and current events. The parameters are pretty wide, so please post to your hearts content!!!

so i have kind of started to look for apartments...im so tired of my ghetto ass kitchen with no dishwasher and no washer dryer.

still have mono....still feel like shit hit me with a dump truck.

back to work tomorrow. probably a little too soon.

so ive been super sick since last wednesday, and i finally had to go to the ER on sunday night, because my throat was SUPER swollen, and i couldnt swallow (i was also drooling everywhere....gross)

thinking it was strep throat, my dr did a throat swab, but also a blood test for mono on a whim.

and guess what it was.....mono! what? im a 25 year old with mono!?!?

now rod wont kiss me, and im stuck in my house. and i cant cook for my family on turkey day....which is seriously my favorite part of the holidays. i am SO bummed :(

so mr magoo and I will just sleep away the week now :)

so rod and i went to maui recently...we had an awesome time.

we just happened to be there for halloween night, which turned out to be a really fun time. Rod managed to pull together a costume somehow, by finding some pirate gear at a touristy store. He found this awesome squirt gun that looks like a pirates pistol, which i definately want to keep...

so when it came time to leave...i put it in my bag, along with a bottle of rum, a full bottle of conditioner, toothpaste, a lighter, and batteries. and ALL of it got through security at tsa. granted, i am a flight attendant...but i wasnt in uniform. this outrages me...im not sure if they could tell it was just a squirt gun, but this thing really looks like a pistol to me, i was actually worried that rod would have it be taken away by the cops when we were walking around on halloween.

this got me thinking. i want to start a website where people can post pictures of the things they got through tsa (by accident, or whatever)

does anyone think this would be a good idea?

not being at work for a month has made me so bored that i have resulted to watching lifetime movies and spending all my time on the internet all day

nothing really has been post worthy in my life lately...just living a peaceful life in san geronimo with rod and my new kitty

life is pretty boring....

im trying to find a job, and its so effing frustrating. its pretty sad that ive planned my whole life to find a job that fulfills me...that im passionate about...

but at this point i will take anything.

I have the urge to go see Deathly Hallows again, but im pretty broke...

just spending the day with spencer relaxing on the couch, and lily is bringing eclipse over later. :)
