Author's notes: This was written as part of the prologue to a Severitus fic which I haven't got around to writing. Posting it here as a standalone chapter because it's its own story, really. Also because I love these characters. Full disclosure (in case you missed the tag): Lily is married to James and has a one-night stand with Severus.
