My dreams last night were frustrating.
In last night's dream, my family was shunning me, including my mom. I felt so ostracized and out of place.
[I'm assuming it's relating to the drama that went on last week when I was visiting my family.]
A couple nights ago, while I was at camp (overnight camp as a counselor), I had a driving dream. The entire dream was bizarre. There was somebody trying to kill someone the entire time, and for part of it, I was in a basement room, trying to pack some of my stuff up, but there was a huge mess. There was also cat vomit. [Both of these themes relate to things happening in my life in the past month. One evening, my cat got really sick. Also, my parents sold there house, so I had to go down there to pack all my stuff up and put most of it in storage.] Shortly thereafter in the dream, I was driving on paved country roads, and I was coming up on a T-intersection. I was trying to slow down, but it just wasn't working. While still driving fast, I took a left turn, and, surprisingly, I did not skid too much or go in the ditch.

Just found this community tonight and figured I'd join. I tend to have weird dreams, so I enjoy hearing what other people think of them. I guess I'll start off by sharing something new - a dream from last night :) It's mostly copy pasted from my lj, but edited to fill in details. Hopefully it makes sense the way it is now.
It took place in a duplex I grew up in, for some odd reason. I was with my girlfriend, Chris. In the stairway, 3 people/spirits or things appeared. One was a woman standing in the center at the front, one was a fairy-like thing flying in the back to the left, and the third was a man in the back on the right, leaning against the wall. I seemed to have split off from Chris. The woman told me that we each needed to go on a Spiritual Journey.. Or at least I had to. She said that if I wanted, I could bring Chris along, to help me face the challenges that were on the way. I very quickly turned to Chris, but I chose to go alone. I needed to face whatever would come my way on my own. The journey was to look inside myself or learn something about myself, and in order to get there, I felt that I had to go on my own. Prove to myself that I had the courage.
After I made my choice, I turned to look in the living room. Chris was sitting there with the man, having a discussion. ** This is where it's completely nonsense and dreamlike ** He was some historical figure, and she was trying to explain to him how to create butter. "you..churn the..". I intervened to try and help her explain. Anyway. it then went back to the lady in the stairway.
"Lets start with this", she said (with the unsaid words "since you already have one" chasing her last phrase), extending her right arm towards me. In her hand she held Bun (one of my two dwarf rabbits). He was sideways, limp. Dead.
The rest of it was too close to when I woke up, so I was half conscious for a fair bit (meaning I don't remember it all that clearly). There were three animals in total though. I know the last one she showed me was an eagle. The second animal she showed might've been a mouse, but I'm not completely sure.
Eventually I might post some other dreams I've had in the past :)

When i was younger i remember having an experience or dream that i picked my parents from the sky, like i was in the clouds. Maybe heaven. I'm not very religious but i believe in something greater, anyway & i told my parents that i picked them when i was very young. I remember the whole thing but i don't understand what it meant. Could that be possible? Talking about dreams, i had a dream i was cheating & running away with my boyfriend & my husband was chasing us through dimensions & stuff, trying to catch us. In real life my boyfriend & i got married, so essentially i was with the same man in my dreams but he was split between his 21 year old self & his 26 year old self. We had kids young. I was 21 when i got pregnant so we have had alot of problems. So i think the dream meant to tell me that i miss the way my husband was when he was my boyfriend. WXhat do you think?

How often does death occur in your dreams?
What forms does it come in?
Is it by the appearances loved ones who no longer are on earth?
What is the context of these situations?
Do people die in your dreams?
Are their ghosts or angels in your dreams?
Several times lately, I've had deceased loved ones appear in my dreams.
I think it may have something to do with losing two loved ones recently, and so close together.
And the prospect of losing a young, beloved family member frightened/frustrated me in one of my dreams. http://dreamsofjaf.livejournal.com/8603.html

Two nights ago.
I was at Wilcon for some reason, and I was with this little girl, about 8 years old, and there was some kind of drug deal going on.
This woman had her car parked in the shop, and had 6 or 7 kids with her or something. She put at least four of them in the trunk. Most of them were girls. that girl I was with was one of them.
I told her, "You can't put your kids in the trunk!" and threatened to call the cops. She didn't care, and gave the girl to me.
She left, with some of the kids in her trunk, and a bag of pot.
I went into my dad's office, and picked up the phone; everything I pressed, I couldn't get a dial tone to make a call.
I tried to call from my cell phone, but even that took a little while. I finally called 911.
The woman had turned left out of t he parking lot, so she was going into town, and had a Wisconsin license plate, all numbers.
I held close by the girl. There was no resolution.
There was another part of my dream that cycled two or three times, about a little boy who had been beaten by his father, who was into drugs and other illegal shit (his priorities were fucked up; his son certainly wasn't one.)
And, this family took the boy in after finding him.
Eventually, the dad is going to flee the area and finds the boy, offers to take him with. Asks if the boy wants to go to New York. He agrees, but asks for how long. The dad says forever. So, the boy doesn't want to go. So, then he asks if he'd like to go live in Paris. The boy agrees.
The family wants to stop the boy, because the father will only abuse and neglect him again, but there is nothing they can do. The second or third cycle it was a movie I was watching.
So frustrating.

I was going through these cards with pictures of animals on them, with my mom I think.
They were in pairs, like the game memory. We took them out of a brown plastic bag.
Then, there was this bunny, with little mini bunnies protruding out of its abdomen.
Like it was pregnant, kind of. It was kind of like eyes on the potato, only they were under the skin.
They didn't look completely like bunnies but were supposed to be bunnies.
We took the bunny out of the bag.
Shortly thereafter, the dream morphed, and the mini baby bunnies were in my arm, under my skin, and I had to give birth to them.
My arm grew a little through out the dream. With lumps from the little bunnies. My skin stretched and had to break open (like an egg, a soft egg, kind of like a snake's egg.)
I could feel them in there, and I could feel my skin stretching and breaking, and watched at least two of them be born. (There were four total I think.) There was one under my elbow and I was worried about that one, because the skin on the elbow is a little thicker, and I didn't want to squish it with my arm movements.
I bled, but, ironically, only a little.
It also helped them to be born if I placed them over this disk thing.
But, before the one under my elbow could be born, my alarm went off, and I had to get up.

At first it was supposed to be a movie. I was watching it.
There were these kids on a ship or a plane. They came from another country or another planet.
All of them except one. She's from Earth, USA, but lived with the others since she was a baby. She was the most normal one.
There were 2 or 3 boys and 2 or 3 girls. Plus a couple older guys who brought them.
( The rest is here.Collapse )
It's really really hard to describe the dream, yet it was very vivid.

I slept terribly last night.
My dreams most certainly weren't peaceful.
I woke up several times and had great difficulty falling back asleep.
It's really fucking loud outside, especially with the window open.
The fan is not loud enough for me.
I'll be okay.
Just kinda frustrating.
Exhausted yet can't sleep. Go figure, huh?

I went to a play. It was really just a practice for it.
It was kind of a musical. Supposed to start out like a concert. And Bill was a lead singer. He wore a wig to give him really long hair.
He sung like two songs.
Daron was in it, too. [I miss Daron. Have not seen him in a long time.]
Then we were backstage, trying to decide where to eat.
The dream totally morphed and all of a sudden I was with Sarah K. She was driving, and we were by Shakopee. It was springtime and it had rained.
Then it was supposed to be a Mario video game. It was really dark, and he was swimming in the water. My field of view was terrible. He kept running into things. Like creatures floating in the water. Then it was in a room, and it was half video game / half me there. There was this small house type thing (like doll sized). With old wood and sawdust in it. [The sawdust was probably because I was reading Matilda last night.] I was trying to climb in by putting my hand in there. (like I was trying to enter like in a video game.)
Then I ended up somewhere rural MN, slightly north. By a lake and it was winter. People where pulling giant goldfish (like the size of fish you catch to eat) out of the lake to eat. Gross.
Then I was in a car with someone, who was driving, and we were in southern MN in the spring. Most of the fields were pretty bare. I remember driving by a farm. It was neat.

Do you go to bed and fall asleep right away?
Or do you go to bed and lie there for a while?
Do you remember your dreams?
How much sleep do you need?
I've been extremely tired lately and want to sleep all the time.
Sometimes I think I need more sleep than the average person.
It's been a stressful, busy week. Now I'm so tired, I'm wide awake.
