The month ends today. The week ends today. If you believe in “Don’t wear white after Labor Day,” then the summer ends this weekend. The point is: Endings.
If all goes to plan (when has that ever happened?) some significant things in my life will end, hopefully being replaced by better things.
And apparently this is the second open thread titled endings so I guess we hit the end of my creativity as well.
So, the topic: Endings. Good or bad. In life or fiction.

Editor’s Note: This was originally a writing prompt and then I realized when I wrote my own that it was too short to be a writing prompt. So I’m turning it into an open thread instead. Feel free to give your own description in the comments or guess other people’s.
One of my favorite games to play on road trips or other places where you’re with a group of people you don’t know very well is called Two Truths and a Lie. The idea is to tell three stories, two of them the complete truth and one of them at least partly made-up. The audience then asks questions and guesses which of the stories is the lie. What stories would you tell for Two Truths and Lie? Provide as much or as little detail as you would like. Feel free to ask questions and guess which is the “lie” in the comments!

On a long trip such as this, it might be advisable to Go With God or at least a GPS device. That leads to a short post on Traveler’s Tales, and one on The Wedding. –A proposal to have a TV series based around the same premise as the Poseidon Adventure movies and remakes. Instead of one small group surviving in total, each episode would be about a different small group making their way out of the doomed ship to safety in a different way.
