As I just read from sarahtales's (aka Maya's) journal:

It's snowing A LOT here now, Gmail is adorably showing it, and I hung up Christmas lights on my window. Sister K and I just took the time to make a list of all the people we'll be sending Christmas cards to. So, I'm feeling all Christmas-y.

Therefore, it's time for the LJ-Christmas card post, too!

I'll be sending Christmas cards. If you want one, please e-mail your address to sivulinen@gmail.com - there's only one L, unlike in my username! If you'd prefer a card for some other holiday than Christmas, let me know and it'll happen. If I need to be extra-sensitive about what to write on the card (for parents or something), let me know.

Oh gods, I'm so happy I have a friend who has bought the first four Temeraire books, since our library has only the first one. I just finished the second one (Throne of Jade), and ( spoilers for it, and minor spoilers for Pratchett's books tooCollapse )

Also, the second season of Rome just ended and I'm so filled with love for that. This will be the first series I buy (or ask for Christmas, anyway) on DVD. *nods determinedly* It was so full of male hotness that I could look at picspams all day. AAAAH.

It is rarely that a show has me proclaiming my love for eight or so characters in every single episode.

HOMG, HOMG, SUPERNATURAL 4x05 WAS AWESOME.

JESUS CHRIST I just found out that our former president won the Nobel Peace Price!

I've been camping and so haven't been hearing the news >__< But this is awesome!

epigrammist's Hikago meme!

1. Beginning with the obligatory question: how did you discover Hikago? Well. My sister's friend was into anime. She taped Fruits Basket on VHS for us years ago. On the tape there was accidentally the three first episodes of Hikago, until it cut off when Hikaru starts playing with Touya Kouyo. I WAS SO HOOKED. I made that friend to give us the rest of the anime on CDs and then I watched it in a really short time. ^___^

So. Me and Sister K are moving. Slowly. Hopefully we will make lots of progress during the weekend. I have thus far packed all my dishes - and about half of my books. The only piece of furniture we have is a bookshelf. Well, you can't blame us for not having our priorities straight :D

Also, if you are one of those people who have my address and would like to have this new one, too, just in case, just let me know and I'll e-mail it to you.
