You will see various stages of different pairings because life is like that. There will be angst, wangst, dark humor, mature themes and situations, romance, violence, adult language, and all of that other fun stuff.
Consider this your warning. Minor warnings above the cut for each chapter.
Please note... Misspelled vitriol, ad hominem attacks, and other blather will be deleted. Also, I know that I use too many commas. I'm working on that. You don't need to comment on that. (Ms. K-T, this means you) Remember, kids: Concrit is your friend.
Also, please ignore the dates on the entries. I wanted to keep the chapters in order from top to bottom on the main page, and this is the only way to do it. ^_^
Disclaimer: I don't own any of the characters or settings. I am very sad about this. They belong to JKR, Scholastic, Warner Bros., and whomever else. If they were mine, the series probably wouldn't be so popular with the minors. Or it would and parents would hate me more than they hate JKR.
I am not being paid for writing this fic. If I was, Scholastic's army of trained ninja penguins would murder me before I could blink.
About the author... Once upon a time, I hated fan fic. I had never read any but I knew it was a waste of time an effort on the author's part. They could be writing something of their own instead of stealing the work of others!
Then I read some decent fic. I begrudgingly conceded that some of it might be okay, but I would never lower myself to actually writing any myself.
Then I was bitten by a big, hairy plot bunny with nasty teeth. I have been lost ever since.
I began working on Shame and Horror on July 7, 2005. I initially planned to write it in three parts. As of July 14, 2006, I have outlined the story to the end and have officially revised that to eleven parts.
Pray for me.
Delays in writing are mostly due to lack of creativity (usually because of work and/or Zyprexa) but I do plan on seeing this through. Updates will probably be sporadic but spectacular. I just hope you stick around to read all of it. ^_^
