11:29AM - Fanfiction Awards
Greetings, I am not certain if this is allowed but I would like to promote a new community called 
forsaken_fandom. It is a new awards community for fanfiction based on shows which no longer air and have two or fewer awards. There are a lot of great fanfictions out there for fandoms like Forever Knight, Dracula The Series, and Vampire High which don't have very many awards. We've only just begun promoting so we don't have many members yet. But we're hoping to open nominations soon and have our first round of awards in October. Thank you for your time and feel free to suggest communities I should seek out for affiliates.

Hi! I hope you guys don't mind me posting this here.. :)
I'm participating this year in the Avon Walk for Breast Cancer as part of a team called "Knock Out Breast Cancer." The Avon Walk is a 2-day, 39.3 mile walk to raise money and awareness for breast cancer. One of the ways we raise money is with something
called "Project Teddy Bear." Our team captain, Lisa, started this a few years ago, so, you may have heard about it before!
Basically, we track down celebrities and get them to sign little tags that we attach to little stuffed breast cancer awareness bears and auction off. When possible, we also take a picture of the celebrity with a bear and include a print of the picture in the auction.

hey, i was wondering if you guys could help me. i am on a mission to increace my film collection and at the same time turn my dorm mate into an avid vampire fan. i've been researching what are supposed to be the classic vamp flics and so far all i've come up with is about 20 different versions of Dracula. Fright Night also came up, and so did near dark? i've got the obvious Blade, Underwold, Anne Rice and John Carpenter's, but i was wondering you had any sugestions?

hello all! i have been given the role as mod here! lets see what we can do about livening up this place of the living dead. what is everyone's fave vampire tale and how were you first attracted to them? i first came into real obsession with them after buffy (more specifically angel) and then branched off and adored Blade and BloodRayne and Hellsing and such. lemme know, lets get some posts and conversation!
