Welcome
My approach to design is always to begin by thinking that we connect as humans through what we find beautiful, and this is my strength as a designer that I can share with you.
I am also fluent in creating inclusive and accessible materials in print, display, and alternative formats and love to help people reach audiences with disabilities or specific needs.
My designs have run in print publications such as New York Times and the Irish Times, in social media channels, and my artwork have been on the walls of galleries in New York and Ireland.
I love to create beauty in the World. Sometimes the beauty is expressed through the perfect logo or creative asset for a marketing campaign, through delightful animal portraits or a landscape drawing, and sometimes of layout of a website or app.
Areas of Work
Graphic and Visual Design
I can help you to create interesting flyers, presentations, event assets, logos, posters and more! With experience across print and digital, and knowledge of indsutries spanning retail, B2B sales, non-profit, entertainment and education sectors, I bring a professional edge to any project.
Animal Portraits
My first love and passion is to create artworks from everyday life. Drawing on formal training as a painter, I have begun to translate my love of classical modern art into intriguing digital portraits of animals, pets, and other lovely things.
If you have a precious loved one that you want to honour with a portrait, please be in touch.
Content Writing
Yes, I write too! Content needs to be engaging, informative, and relate to what people are looking for. As an artist, I’ve spent years understanding the power of imagery, and using words to tell a story is an additional layer of my creative skillset.

Illustrations
Working across a few different styles, I create illustrations for bespoke, non-profit, or corporate environments. These can be used as social media or digital assets, added to presentations or other marketing materials, or help explain complex concepts that need visual emphasis.
Inclusive Design Consulting
Over years of working in design, I have witnessed the powerful difference that comes from creating inclusive, accessible materials. The art of inclusion is a mix of design-knowledge, social-listening, understanding the core needs of a piece of communication, and knowing what are the diverse ways that humans process and digest communications messages.

In one-to-one or group workshops, I can talk through core principles of inclusive design, update or create new designs with best practices in mind, and I can suggest resources for assuring web and apps are inclusively designed as possible. Using a user-centric approach, I can help you anticipate the needs of stakeholder groups with different abilities and processing styles.
The importance of inclusive design is clear when we consider the large constituent of our general population who identify as having some form of a disability. Figures put 15-20% of the general population as having a disability, and when you also want to consider other forms of diversity in your audiences, an inclusive approach becomes essential to maximising reach and empowering communities.
