Before I started watching this movie for this commentary, I was struck with a sudden realization: in every movie I've reviewed here, I've completely loathed the female playing opposite of Depp. [I refrain from saying 'lead' because Eva Mendes certainly was no lead.] In Sleepy Hollow, it was Katrina, whom I considered mostly shallow and completely unsuited for Ichabod Crane. She was far too much of social gal for the repressed Crane. In From Hell, I totally hated the whore Mary Kelly. I mean, honestly, why did she get to live and not Abberline?? It was a total break from history, in which the opposite happened. For Dead Man... *pause* Well, can't say I hated the girl in that, considering she was not a major role, plus, she didn't last long. My loathing of Ajedrez is acutely obvious, I should think, so moving along.

So after watching this movie, I was pleasantly surprised to find out that, finally, the female lead gets what she deserves. Not only that, but Depp is a psycho writer! Could it get better? Of course..... there's two Johnny's on screen! My fandom slashes, uh, himself?

Side note: I totally suggest seeing the 'What's happening to me?' scene at full-volume. There's all these whispered sayings going on as he looks at himself in the mirror [note: right before Shooter shows up]. Something about a sister...a competition... eating chips the wrong way... really quite beautiful.

I took them for kho's most addicting pic!spam commentaries, but I figure everyone can use them. [Side note: She requested 11...and I did 63. 11=63. Who needs math skills?] If you use them for icons or anything, all I ask is a small note in the post. Like 'made from caps by yunafire' or whatev. That's all ^.^

Firstly, she's speaking N00B! That's bad enough.

Secondly, the icons in her journal? Not hers. Yet she asks for others to comment if they take them. *shudder* That is, like, the most revolting thing I've ever read. Besides, isn't that rule one icon making: Don't credit someone else's work as your own? I think it is.

The one she's using as her default was made by ignited and some of the other icons in her journal I recognize, yet can't place.

Dear LJ members/friends,

 I have a new community: utopia_fanfics and it is a place where I am putting all of my fanfiction in. Other people are welcomed to do the same. This community was mainly created to organize my fanfics and make it easily accessible for every and anyone. Even if no one really would like to join to read and/or post, it is okay since I enjoy going back and reading some of my old stories. Anyway, I hope people do join.
