As a kid, I was in more plays than I can count. The Tony Awards were like the Superbowl at my house. I carried over that love as an adult, and no matter where I was living for school, I always returned to my beloved NYC and Broadway to catch the latest shows, and the best revivals.
The first website I ever visited was http://www.playbill.com . A lot has changed on the net since then, and since moving to Seattle, I've been a bit surprised at how hard one has to search for the wealth of theatrical life I found in Houston, NYC, Chicago, Dallas, Philadelphia, and even Charlotte, NC.
So, if your passion is Sondheim, or you prefer August Wilson, or your tastes need Weill, Brecht, The Bard, Lee Blessing, Edward Albee, Marsha Norman, or someone no one may have heard of on live journal, come and get people interested!
It sucks to go to theatre by yourself. Maybe we can connect some thespian loners in this great, sparkling city!
