As you may have noticed, things are finally becoming active here again, unfortunately real-life knocked both Mel(1) and I out of action for a while but, we are both working our way back and ready to get things moving again. Mel is in the last months of her pregnancy and while still dealing with some health issues, she says she's ready to play. If you've been reading, you'll see that some new Vampires have arrived in town, and with them will come an expansion of the storyline that originally brought Lisbeth and Aziz to the City.

We are of course still looking for players so feel free to tell everyone you know about the game. We are willing to grandfather characters in so long as they can provide us with some samples of their past play, or are connected to current community members through past communities, games, or other association.

Anyway, I can't wait to get things jumping, plus, as soon as everyone hits the City, we'll want to schedule times for the Prince to hold Court. Looking forward to reading your posts.

Hello! *waves* Mel [2] aka Gino's secretary here, and I just thought I'd post a hello and an ooc: 'chat about the Return of the Succubus Club: The Set-up thread' if you'd like. Thank you for letting that backstory/set-up be included, I love these little set-up scenarios that White Wolf teases the players with, and it's a perfect little piece for the Giovanni as the resurrected Succubus Club is now a touring outfit. Perfect vehicle for plotting *grin*

I'm looking forward to interacting with everyone, and promise that I am much nicer than Gino.

Hey, all! Just wanted to post an update of what is going on here in Savannah by Night, so you can be fully informed. I'm Mel, one of the two mods here (JD is the other one). We play Lisbeth Peters and Aziz Faraj al Saqr, respectively. And all the NPCs, obviously, lol.

As of now, SBN is more or less running. Into next week, I should be able to start posting plot hooks and the like. This week I have been concentrating on getting the community itself up, with all the rules, FAQ, application, pictures, etc. We've done a little recruiting, but nothing major as of yet. It would be great if we could start getting more people in here! I'll be doing some more community recruiting posts as well.

Most of the links should be easy to find and navigate now. What I am asking now is for feedback and constructive criticism...what else do we need to make this place an attractively run place? Any ideas are welcome. Although we have a nominal application, more or less this game expects to see long time VtM players who have been through this rigmarole before and know a little something. We want a serious, mature game here.

My next set of plans includes: creating a Friend All tool (not as necessary now when there are so few of us, but that should change), setting up a locked Contact List so we can all chat as needed, and putting in a new layout. I'm also updating the FAQs as I can, and I'm putting together our combat system. I've noticed it comes into play very rarely in one of these games, which are almost always plot- and word-driven, but I need it in case we run into that scenario. If you wish to run a combat without having to roll, that's fine as well provided everyone involved agrees on the outcome, but I want them in place.
