Name: Olivert Reise Arnor (Alias: Olivier Lenheim)
Age: 26
Gender: Male
Canon: Trails Series
Canon Point: Post Trails in the Sky the Third!
History: Wiki link!
Personality:
In Olivier Lenheim's introduction in Trails in the Sky, he presents himself as a travelling bard. Quick to come up with a relevant limerick (and also quick to flirt with anything in a skirt), his disguise is very easy to believe. Olivier has a very loud personality, and can easily command the attention of any room that he's in, for better or worse. In addition to the flirting and the singing, he has a penchant for monologuing about love; love as a concept, love as an idea. To Olivier, love is the most important thing in the world, as it's what creates peace and joy between two people.
This sounds great on paper, but it doesn't change the fact that Olivier is a walking liability. Despite all his diatribes, the best word to describe him would be "hopeless." He has a knack for getting himself into trouble that he has to find a way out of; drinking an expensive bottle of wine he can't pay for and getting thrown in jail, flirting with the wrong person, causing international incidents. As his best friend Mueller states, "he lives a life of excessive debauchery and constantly exhausts those unfortunate to be around him at every waking hour."
All of this would be well and good, were Olivier not also royalty. Olivier's real name is Olivert Reise Arnor, and he is a prince of the kingdom of Erebonia. The child of the Emperor and a commoner and a peasant woman, he is not in line for the throne, but is none the less an acting member of the royal family.
It's easy to accuse him of being a "carefree prince," as some of his own citizens have done, but the truth lies a little deeper. Although not completely an act, his debaucherous personality is somewhat of a facade. More than his outward personality might suggest, Olivert is quite smart. Not only is he said to have graduated at the top of his class in Thors Military Academy, but he's also a (somewhat skilled) political mover. In Trails of Cold Steel, he forms Class VII as a direct response to the rising tensions between nobles and commoners, and he successfully funnels money into a project to build a high-speed airship to help Class VII.
Although very rare, there are some times he does drop the facade. When this happens, he stands as a proper prince of Erebonia. For example, at the end of Trails in the Sky SC, he bring a battalion of tanks to prevent an Erebonian attack on Liberl. In this instance, he drops his carefree demeanor, and addresses the crowd calmly and directly, making sure that what needs to get done actually gets done.
These political moves tie into his motives: to help his country and his countrymen. Although he is not an eligible heir to the throne, he nonetheless loves Erebonia, and wants to see his country succeed. He also loves his family, and is often shown being a caring big brother to both Alfin and Cedric. He doesn't seem to harbor any resentment for what happened with his birth, and is somebody who truly works for the good of others. For all the waxing poetic he does about love being eternal, it's clear that he does believe that love and peace are important things to strive for.
At least, insofar as he strives to irritate those around him. While his demeanor is a facade for his enemies, there's no denying that it's also a part of his personality. Even when he's with those that he cares about, he has a tendency to flirt, make inappropriate comments, and get himself into trouble. In Sky, he challenges Schera to a drinking contest. It ends very poorly for him. Mueller, his bodyguard since he was a child and his closest ally, bears the brunt of this. He constantly teases, flirts with, and frustrates Mueller. Still, as evidenced in his star door in the 3rd, the two do get along, and Olivert is capable of being serious when he has to. Even if sometimes, his political maneuverings include shooting roses at a skyboat full of enemies.
While he does care for people, there's probably a part of him that does feel lonely and lost. This is much more pronounced in the being of the first Trails in the Sky game; Olivert comes to Liberl for many reasons, although one of them appears to be to find a way to help his country better, and to find his place.
Ultimately, while Olivier is someone who occasionally feels lonely, and is someone who is very difficult to work with, he is someone driven with the best interests of others at heart. He's able to think deliberately and overcome any obstacle before him, even if most of the time he comes off as a spoony bard.

Olivier throws his weapon in the air, where it transforms into a shower of roses.
At Level 1: The shower of roses heals allies within 10 feet for a moderate amount of HP and stuns nearby enemies.
At level 2: The shower of roses heals allies within 10 feet for a large amount of HP, and inflicts poison status on nearby monsters (50% chance) in addition to doing moderate damage.
At level 3: Olivier summons a lute that he plays as the shower falls. The roses heal allies within 10 feet, and give them a small shield (Akin to protect) for six turns. The falling petals also poison nearby enemies (75% chance).
At level 4: Finale. As Olivier takes a bow, a bramble patch grows under nearby foes, restricting their movement. Allies within 20 feet are healed for a large amount of HP, given a small shield that last shot for six turns, and given an attack boost for the next three turns.
