General: I like sex and plot. If I have to choose between the two, I’ll choose plot! No PWP.
Likes: I love character exploration. I love it when the plot and/or the sex is highly reflective of the characters in question. I like to hear and see and feel the characters, and how they interact! I’m super into H/C. I’m super into intrigue. I’m into misunderstandings that eventually resolve into greater understanding. Any of that is the way to my heart.
Stuff I’m into from the sex standpoint: Mutually consensual kink is great, but vanilla is great, too (and mutually consensual doesn’t mean they’re both into it – I’m also interested in unbalanced kink where one is GGG-happy to do it to fulfil the other). Kissing and affection are big plusses. I’m cool with dubcon/non-con as long as it’s acknowledged as a really fucked-up thing, fits with the plot, and has real fallout to deal with.
Dislikes: Falling in love with your rapist. Scat or piss play. Out-of-character writing.
Lucky Starr: Lucky and Bigman. Slash if you’re into that, but if you’re not, their deep, deep friendship and care for each other is my world. I love Asimov-style mysteries with a big juicy helping of science. Explore their strange, futuristic 1950s world for me! Where The Hell Are The Women is a fun thing to do in this world.
WotW: Season 1 all the way. I love the interaction between all four main characters. I slash Blackwood/Ironhorse massively, and what I love about them is the contrast – the quirky pacifist scientist and the super-serious military man, and yet, they grow to care for each other so deeply. I’d love an alien plot that needs to be foiled, complete with some bonding and/or sex! Or a fic around the rather dark Season 2 first episode, when Blackwood loses Ironhorse. Drake being snarky and McCullough being insightful is always great.
Avengers Assemble: I really enjoy how AA lets us explore the characters more than the movies do (and, of course, the differences between the MCU and AA versions of the same character). I love every single character who makes an appearance, so you can’t go wrong with any of them, from A(nt-Man) to Z(emo), but I particularly love Clint’s snarkiness, Nat’s cleverness, Tony’s insecurity, and the different flavors of Shuri’s and Steve’s awesomeness. And of course, I am super into Stony. H/C is my everything in this fandom. If you’re not into slash, then the super-friendship they have is also great. I adore how Tony and Steve are so different, but so mutually respectful and so complementary. I loved all of their versions of Civil War in AA – Steve reacting to Tony’s obsession with Arsenal by quitting the Avengers, or when Tony and Steve are on the same side during the Ultron Revolution. Even just a fic of Steve’s thoughts when Tony is taken over by Ultron would be delicious. Or a gapfiller of Steve while Tony is lost, or the parallel story of all the time Tony was roaming the Battleworld-in-progress and making gear for Steve and Nat. Peggy exists in this world, and she’s awesome and Tony has met her, so no Peggy-bashing! Closet!gay!Tony is very canon-compatible in AA, and I’m cool with that.
Rocannon's World: I will make this easy, I just want some Rocannon/Yahan. I love inexperienced, yet sweet, caring, and utterly competent Yahan being in awe of Olhor, and Rocannon adoring all of that Yahan-ness. I like the idea of what they were up to after escaping the renegades’ camp, living off the land, or how they settle in at the castle at the end, but if you have another idea, go with it! No bashing of Rocannon’s lady (briefly though we meet her).
