Routes 54 and 87 will be on detour 7:30 AM to 4 PM on July 12, 2026, to accommodate the Woonie Crit Bicycle Race.

Route 54 (Lincoln/Woonsocket):

Outbound trips will travel the regular route to South Main St. and Main St., turn right onto Bernon St., go around the rotary and bear right onto Truman Dr., right onto Clinton St. and then resume the regular route.

Inbound trips will travel the regular route to Social St. and Main St., continue on Main St. to High St., turn right onto High St., left onto River St., right onto South Main St. and then resume the regular route.

Route 87 (Fairmount/Walnut Hill):

Eastbound trips (to Walnut Hill) will travel the regular route to Main St. and High St., turn right onto High St., left onto River St., left onto South Main St., right onto Bernon St., go around the rotary and bear right onto Truman Dr., right onto Clinton St. and then resume the regular route.

Westbound trips (to Fairmount) will remain on the regular route.

Routes 50, 55, 56 and 57 will be on detour all day from June 1, 2026, through July 19, 2026, to accommodate the FIFA Fan Zone. Gaspee St. will be closed to traffic.

Routes 50 and 55:

Outbound trips will travel the regular route to Francis St., continue on Francis St., turn right onto Smith St. and then resume the regular route.

Inbound trips will travel the regular route to Smith St. and Gaspee St., continue on Smith St., turn left onto Francis St. and then resume the regular route.

Routes 56 and 57:

Outbound trips will travel the regular route to Francis St., continue on Francis St., turn left onto Smith St. and then resume the regular route.

Inbound trips will travel the regular route to Smith St. and Francis St., turn right onto Francis St. and then resume the regular route.

As part of its ongoing I-95 15 Bridges project, starting Sunday night, June 21, 2026, the Rhode Island Department of Transportation (RIDOT) is scheduled to restrict southbound traffic on a portion of Pontiac Avenue where it passes over Route 10 in Cranston. This portion of the roadway will be closed and detoured through Fall 2026 so RIDOT can begin phased reconstruction of the Pontiac Avenue Bridge.

Route 22 Outbound trips will be affected by this detour.

Outbound trips will travel the regular route to Reservoir Ave. and Pontiac Ave., continue on Reservoir Ave. to Park Ave., turn left onto Park Ave., right onto Rolfe Square, and then resume the regular route.

Inbound trips will remain on the regular route.
