Depuis la création en 1889 du cours de « Microbie technique », premier cours de microbiologie au monde, l’enseignement constitue l’une des missions et priorités de l’Institut Pasteur. À la fois théoriques et pratiques, les cours s’adressent généralement à une vingtaine de participants et sont régulièrement réactualisés pour répondre aux attentes des biologistes et des professionnels de la santé.
