Lost & Found
So.. I lost my gold earring thing. It's a clip-on style of earring shaped like a gold hoop, a little less than an inch in diameter. I either dropped it somewhere downstairs or else I lost it on the bus on the way to folklife. If anyone finds it, please let me know. Thanks. |

RoboFanFic?!
I have been contracted to write robot house fan fiction. As far that goes... Okay I have started the first story. It involves 3 members of robot house. If you would like to be in later robot house fan fictions you can petition here for why I should I include you. I will include robot house peripherals if it works for the story. Again, if you are NOT a member of Robot House but wish to be included in the fan fiction I am writing then here is where you should petition. And no, if I don't know you I won't include you. Ask RobotHouse
I figure there are enough nerds here to power the internet for a few years so someone should have an answer to this. I talked a friend into installing Linux on her laptop, but I couldn't get everthing to work before she had to leave for the summer so I put XP back on. For some reason whatever crappy dvd playing software that came with it isn't working correctly. Also, I want to be able to give her some French movies I have in divx format with external subtitle files. So I need two things. One being a free (as in I don't like paying for software) dvd player that doesn't give a crap about regions or crap like that. Second is a play to play divx movies in a way that also allows her to use external subtitle files. I'd be happy to keep her on windows media player for simplicity and idealy would just be "place this dll in this folder and you're all set" but if you know a program that can do both of what I'm looking for I'd be really happy. Basiclly I'm looking for a windows version of xine. oh ya, spyware need not apply. |
