The first ashcan for Snappy Mystery Stories. There was a second ashcan printed the following year, but the magazine itself was never released to the public. Culture Publications printed both Spicy and Snappy ashcans in 1934 and 1935, but only Spicy Mystery ended up getting released to the public. Whether they truly intended to launch both Spicy Mystery and Snappy Mystery as separate titles remains unknowable.
