 | 11:24 am Well, it's been an interesting couple of days. I twisted my ankle running this morning, but Luna and I haven't seen any centaurs. Thank God. I don't want to run into another one of those ever again.
I spoke to my sister about Professor Shacklebolt's wedding and she is delighted to help out. I heard her talking to Mrs. Vance and Lorie about had a heart attack at the offer they'd settled on. She wouldn't tell me what it was, but she's a happy woman at the moment.
I've never mentioned this to my classmates, but my sister is the guitarist for the Flaming Wands. I think they may be playing at the Yule Ball. Professor Dumbledore hasn't really said for sure yet, but there you are. I don't know how many of you lot have heard of them.
*grin* I heard Cho and Marietta were arguing. Anyone see it? It was supposed to be pretty revealing.
*Charmed for George Weasley Only. If you're not George, you can't see this*
George,
We need to talk in regards to a mutual friend of ours.

 | 09:03 am There are times being a Ravenclaw has its perks. Sure, no on thinks we are much besides bookworms and stuck up, but occasionally it's worth it.
Take this morning.
I was out for my morning run, as I always do. I'd got about halfway done when I guess I got too close to the Forest. Mind you, I've been really careful about staying away from it. But I guess I was a step or two too close and this centaur comes bursting out of the Forest.
Naturally, I was terrified. He glared at me and for a second, I was sure I was dead Ravenclaw. I sort of stood my ground though, because I hadn't done anything wrong. I run the same path every morning and until today, I've never been stopped.
He demanded to know why I was running. So I told him that I run every morning to keep myself healthy. He didn't seem to like that reply and said "Typical foolish human".
Now, I am not the most brave of people, in fact, I was rather sure I was going to faint. But I hadn't done anything wrong and I was not going to be called foolish for nothing! So I launched into a lecture, I guess we can call it that (I was shaking the whole time) about how I wasn't going into their precious forest and I was minding my own buisness, why couldn't he do the same. Then I told him about the Hogwarts zoning regluations and indicated to where I was standing. I was still on Hogwarts property.
I don't think that mattered much to him though. He glared at me some more and told me to run along. (Well he wasn't nearly that polite) I guess I'm just glad I didn't lose my head! Current Mood: intimidated

 | 08:26 am Well, what an interesting week.
That note found in Ravenclaw's Common Room was quite frightening. I hope Lorie doesn't want to pull me out of Hogwarts like she tried last year. Anyway, Padma and Tony did a really good job keeping the little ones calm. The kickboxing was a rather brilliant idea, too.
And Hermione! What on earth got into that girl? I am shocked she wasn't hexed herself. Really, she shouldn't be walking alone. None of us should, actually.
If anyone needs me, I'll be in the library working on my Defense homework.
Does anyone know who created the Blasting Hex? I can't find it anywhere. Current Music: "Paulianna's Purse" Matchstick Gnomes Current Mood: busy

 | 10:49 pm Is anyone else completely confused by Professor Shacklebolt's last assignment?
There are three dark wizards inside of a large dungeon. They hold a signifigant amount of potion ingredients that can be set to explode, killing a number of innocent Muggles nearby. How do you navigate the dungeon and take custody of the suspects without inciting panic?
What on earth is he trying to do here? I am completely stumped. Current Music: "Lean On Me"~Al Green Current Mood: confused
