Granted I will be in a confrence most of the time, but nonetheless, I will get to see my Becca!!
Bex, If my mom does come, this will take you off the hook for early morning things...but you can give her a break midday......that way you still have a week of nanny work(haha).....................

| My poor Christopher is sick with a 102fever. I gave him motrin, nursed him and he has slept the majority of the day.
Which has allowed me to watch the movie The Nines by John August...I do recommend it. I also have had the chance to comment to many people, which I Never do....due to lack of time, and now I get to post.
A very evil, yet wonderful thing...chocolate chip cookie dough in a tub...even it is Nestle.
I went to a MOPS group this morning(before I knew that Christopher was sick) and it was great. I really like the women there. I met a woman who does a post partum depression suppot group, she and I are convinced we are long lost emotional issue twins. I had to leave early when we figured out that he was running a fever.

| So I feel like crap as I have since about 3pm this afternoon...so Ben come home and did not go to school so I could take some meds and come to bed....and he is watching the kids.
Well I am watching TLC and it is a program on pregnancies, which of course greatly interests me. A woman held a pregnancy in her abdomen for 46years...46!!!!! The infant actually grew to full term..highly unusual, the woman went into labor, but only delivered blood.........the womans body encased the fetus and lived there for 46years!! It turned into stone..............when she was 75 they finally found it and removed it.
Also, a woman was pregnant with triplets, one of those triplets was growing in the abdomen and AMAZINGLY all three survived, they were delivered two months early....I am in awe about how the baby survived in the abdomen.......and in awe that the mom survived!
Then I was starting to watch The worlds smallest mom...she is 2ft, dad is 6ft...........but Bex informed me of American Idol in Miami
As sad as it is, I miss Miami, and I would NEVER EVER live there again, but I do miss it.

| I can not believe Nicholas actually fell asleep by 8:30 and Christopher by 9:20...........now I understand that most 6 and 2 year olds should be asleep before that, however my kids did not get that in their instruction manuel. No matter what kind of routine we do, how active we keep them, you would think three karate classes in a row would tire a kid out.....HA, you would be wrong.
But, tonight, they are asleep..but so is my husband who is not feeling well. So now I am up and don't know what to do with myself.
Nic got his progress report and he is doing well. Christopher talks more and more everyday!!!!!
And, clearly having time to myself is not good, I am sitting here thinking how I actually do long to have a little girl!........Really, I think I am delusional due to my alone time........because really a third kid??!! That would out-number the parent kid ratio...never a good idea.

| 4pound, 35 week babies with virtually no suck.....makes breastfeeding really hard. Its bad enough that 90% or more of hospital(read medicated) born babies are so sleepy in the first 24hours and hardly nurse........but then you put a preemie on top of that..it makes it almost impossible. But, I got the mom to begin pumping, doing lots of skin to skin, and syringe fringer feeding.
It made for a trying day at work. Of course then I come home to a mess of a kitchen, mess of a house, and two hyped uped kids who needed to be in bed. Plus, my husband is in some serious pain in that his sinuses are all blocked up, the mri done on friday showed that there is no openings AT ALL in his right sinus.
Plus, I think he is depressed, but no man will admit to that.

| I know I never post.....but I thought I would say Happy New Year to all.
This year is starting somewhat melancholy for me, nothing serious, and I have plenty to be happy and thankful for. But, I have found myself in alot of retrospective and introspective thinking and well for lack of a better word, meditating.
On a happy note, the kids are wonderful. Nicholas is, well he's Nicholas. he has his T-ball tryouts this weekend, which just means they tell him what team he is on, nobody at age 6 gets cut. Karate is well, awesome, my little 1st degree black belt.
Christopher is great, he never stops talking and since the ear tubes, he is NON STOP and much clearer to understand. He is still nursing, but its fading....and I think I am happy with that, but I will miss the moments with my baby.
Ben and I are doing better then we have in a long time............with some bumps in the road.
So now I have made my post, maybe I'll make one again someday, but for now my year quota has been met | | comments: 3 comments or Leave a comment |

Our streets are flooded, it continues to rain..pour. Two windows in MY BEDROOM have small leaks. The kids end up cooped inside, which makes them into crazy people by the end of the day. I am DONE DONE DONE with this rain
2 1/2 hours in the car last night.......umm no thank you. And it is making my back ache even more.
