I've been restoring and scanning these old photos that have been inherited down through the family line, and nobody knows who these six are, but I am convinced they are all sisters -- since they all have the same mouth -- but my favorite is the blond in the very middle, who you just know is the youngest sibling and who has a completely modern look on her face like "I so would rather be out with my friends instead of holding this old crappy bible here!"

My scanner was offline (for a couple of months, actually) until this past weekend. I've finally finished refurbishing my office! It was a tedious process, what with the horsehair plaster walls containing large holes where my grandfather ripped out the fixtures from the original gas lighting, and other general old house issues. But now it's done!
The first thing I did was sit down and start scanning all the old photos and albums I've been accumulating. Unfortunately, LJ was having issues and I couldn't post them. Now I'm finished, and there are over 163 new photos on my Fotki page--3 new family albums, another album I'd only posted a third of before, and about 35 assorted single images and family groups.
Instead of posting a ton of pictures, I'll just link to the new things and post a couple of pics for those folks who don't have the time or inclination to dig around on their own.
The new albums are: Lebanon, PA area. (Complete. Lots of babies and cute little kids. 8 tintypes.) Knickerbocker album. (Added 23 images--now complete.) Philadelphia/South Jersey area. (Complete. These are my relatives, but none of them have names on the back and the index was used as a birth/death register. Album in poor condition. 12 tintypes.) Salem, Mass. area. (Complete. In beautiful condition.)
And as far as individual images: Everything after #45 is new. There are individual albums/folders for groups of loose photos that belong together by family but were not in albums. They're listed by the predominant surname and can be seen by scrolling down the album list, here.
A few pics...

Hey everyone,
I haven't posted here for a loooooooooooong time, but I'm back! =3
I thought you all might be interested in an ongoing project of mine to scan ALL of my old family photos.. (about 125 years worth!) of which there are many. Many. MANY.
I am currently posting them over on flickr... though that might change. Your comments are welcomed and adored.
The photos are here.
I thought I would share them with some people who might like them as much as I do.
Please enjoy!
X-posted, so sorry if you read this twice!
