Well, we've come a bit of a ways since HBO first announced that Game of Thrones was in the works. First Jennifer Ehle was our Cat and we worried for her hair but it turned out it was all peachy keen and we learned some stuff about the pilot script. Then Ehle left and Michelle Fairley was now our Cat, and this was a bit more kerfuffly, and through screencaps and photos and promos and teasers and finally last night's behind-the-scenes feature, we got more chances to react to our new Cat. I'm curious now: how do you guys feel about the show w.r.t. Catelyn? The casting, the lines, the coverage, the costumes, etc? There's no right or wrong answer here, I'm just curious what other folks think, especially since she's one of the more controversial castings (lol Cat + controversy = Fandom OTP) and we're up to 30 members now and it'd be great to have more perspectives :) I promise you can be totally honest, whether you're in love or hate or indifference, just please don't get in each others' faces for having different opinions :) Curious Miss is curious!

I'm assuming Ms. Ehle, along with Dinklage and Bean and Headey and NCW, are too busy filming to do fan events. There's been some leaked photos of the production flying around, I wonder if we'll ever get any of the actual shooting? *can dream*

I still wanna know what looking "motherly" entails *mutter* buuut whatever, yay brown, that makes it more auburn? And it looks cool? Aaaand we're really hard up for news?
Sophie's mum said that when Sophie and Jennifer Ehle was standing next to one another with their hair done up they looked very much like mother and daughter and looked great.

Jennifer Ehle was there and looking very Catelyn-like, which, in my mind, is beautiful and motherly. (It helps this look that she was breastfeeding her baby at the same time ;) ) She had red hair, perhaps with the slightest bit of brown. It looked really cool though... the hairstyle that is.

In another HBO casting, Jennifer Ehle has been added to the pilot "Game of Thrones."
...
On "Thrones," HBO's adaptation of the George R.R. Martin fantasy-book series, Ehle will play Catelyn Stark, Ned Stark's (Sean Bean) wife who originally was betrothed to Ned's older brother. When the older brother was killed, she fulfilled her duty by marrying Ned and securing the alliance between their two houses.
