I'm in an indie/powerpop/synthpop rock band from NW Indiana. We're looking for a BASSIST and KEYBOARDIST to join our band. We need committed members who are looking for a serious project (lots of playing out, recording, touring next summer, etc). The bass player would need to have all of his/her own equipment suitable for playing mid-sized venues with no miking. An ideal keyboard player would have his/her own keyboard (showing some dedication to the instrument), but we do have several sweet synths you could use if you don't have your own. Basically, if you've ever thought of playing keys in a rock band and are willing to put in the time, let us know!
You can listen to our current stuff HERE, but we are moving further from the punky type sound in those recordings, and becoming more of a rock band.
Inspirations for us would include (but are not limited to): The Rentals, Weezer, The Anniversary, Jimmy Eat World, Muse, Alkaline Trio, Elvis Costello, The Beach Boys, Ben Folds, Cursive, Motion City Soundtrack, The Impossibles, etc...

I'm playing Sandy in Grease. We open tomorrow night at the Star Plaza Theatre in Merrillville. Tickets can be bought through Ticketmaster, the Star Plaza box office, or at the door for $20.
