Welcome to my midlife crisis

I do not think I ever mentioned that I took my girls on opening night to see Momma Mia...or maybe I did....I LOVED IT! They did, too.

It has bloomed into an Abba frenzy for me. I have been searching the house for Abba...I can't find my Abba CD, my iPod has crashed/froze up, so today I went out and bought Abba Gold (Greatest Hits). I was a fan at 11 years old, I loved Muriel's Wedding and now the Momma Mia craze...love it, love it, love it!

My Abba craving will drive my family mad, especially Michael who never listened to Abba back in the day, but Led Zeppelin. Somehow this CD is cheering me up, maybe I am just a dork! I have listened to it 4 times today! Sarah told me to turn down the stereo today as the neighbors will think I am white trash!!! I love almost-16 year olds.

I am the biggest chicken I know with scary movie. I thrive on suspense and than cannot sit still thru it. I was a very big girl tonight and watched The Skeleton Key all by myself!

I seem to have a real bothersome spot for voodoo or hoodoo or whatever. I remember when I saw Angel Heart (Mickey Rourke, Lisa Bonet & Robert DeNiro) OMG, it gave me bad dreams for weeks. Now I am a little freaked out here alone with Lauren and Katy asleep upstairs. I will be okay, I will be okay..."Greater is he that is me than he that is in the world" I am saying my prayers!

Certain places I have never been and not sure I would want to go:
Las Vegas (brother died there, our daughter lived there for a year, broke our hearts and came home pregnant...Lauren is my blessing from that)...Las Vegas saddenes me....I would love to visit... maybe...someday, I am not sure.
New Orleans (The whole voodoo thing and occult freaks me out)....it seems scary to me.

I am thinking I might take (my grandbabies) Lauren and possibly Jaron over to see Michael parents tomorrow, we shall see.

My girl is wide awake from her Papa leaving for work just now and I must wear blinders because she is so damn cute and funny....focus...bedtime....(she was sleeping from 9pm-2am)
