Noah rocks! [Mar. 21st, 2006|07:12 am]

In addition to his regular gig in Dino Frenzy, Noah has been seriously talking about reforming his old band, The Starch Concept. He told me recently that he was really sad that they never made any songs. His plans right now are to make catchy minimalist pop songs with high concepts and interesting lyrics. I assume that Noah will sing and play guitar, while his brother plays bass, keyboards, and also sings. If they can ever find a drummer than maybe this project will get off the ground. Look for their debut album, The Soul Destroyer, in about 2008. It will be a double album consisting of about 80 songs. I know I'll be first in line!

Dino Frenzy Update [Dec. 27th, 2004|02:47 pm]

Dino Frenzy, the new exciting band which features your very own Noah Riggs on guiter, played their first show last night. It was a packed house of 10 all cramed in to Nick's bedroom. The show was pretty good, but Noah seemed a little nervous. He promises a better performance next time and he will probably deliver. The show probably lasted about 10 minutes, and Zach was too far away to get any instructions from Nathan. Still, it was an exciting moment and they amazingly sold some of their tapes. All and all, it was a sucess and Noah hopes to play again sometime in the near future, hopefully for 20 people or more!

Noah Riggs Fan Club Newsletter #1

Delivering all the important news since just now: by Skeezix

Noah always told me he wanted his own newsletter. At least he joked about having one. Now the time has finally arrived and the Noah Newsletter is underway! And who better to oversee it than his very own alter ego? Perhaps someday we can get contributers and print this and take over the world! Where would we be without wishful thinking?

Grades!: by Skeezix

Noah got many grades back this week and they were all good. His Linguistics test was a 93. This is right after everyone said that he would never get an A in Dr. Schrock's class. Well he's proven everyone wrong again. He's also exceded expectations and recieved a 98 on his Modern American Lit test. I would say that Noah doesn't have much to complain about these days.

Long Sleeves: by Skeezix

Noah has recently discovered that girls pay much more attention to him when he is wearing one of his long sleeve shirts. A recent poll shows that girls perfer long sleeved Noah by 22%. Of course, most girls like him anyway, but every little bit helps. When asked why he wasn't going to change over exclusively, Noah replied "I just gotta be me." Indeed Noah, indeed.

Baseball Fever: by Skeezix

Did you know that Noah loves baseball? Well he does. This is something that he kinda likes to keep secret, but sometimes he can't help himself. He is excited about the Red Sox going to the world series because they remind him of his beloved Chicago Cubs. Also, he was happy to see the mighty Yankees beat. He says it's never good to root for winners. Perhaps that's good advice.
