Fearless Art of All Flavors

Do you find youself signing up for artistic challenges then forgetting about the little unimportant parts like the deadlines or the theme? Do you like the idea of a challenge, but know that working towards a due date just won't work for you? Do you just want another place to show off?

Well, this might be the place for you.

Here at no_deadlines we want you to have someplace to show off, to get some kind of credit for work you did, but didn't do it within the time constraints that challenges and artistic fests place upon you. We welcome all art, and not just visual. If you have a song to share, a poem, some prose, a cake, or even an interpretive dance (it might happen...) we welcome you with open arms.

We also will have daily prompts, two a day. One will be a word or phrase & the other will be a set of no more than four and no less than two color hexes or crayon colors. Maybe your brain will be inspried & you'll create something. We'll accept anything at anytime that comes of the prompts.

If you want to post read this- (The rules will be posted regularly & you will have at least two days warning if anything changes or if you are in violation of the rules.)

1.) A header is needed as well as an lj-cut or a link to your own journal. The header should look something like this:

Artist/Author:
Medium:
Rating: (Use the CARA system- http://www.filmratings.com/)
Challenge: (please include the url for the challenge &/or the lj-post that concerns it.)
Warnings: (you don't need to be extra detailed, but warn for things like blood, sex, kink, or if it's fannish, spoilers. We're not going to be nit-picky, but just use common sense.)
Fandom: (your stuff might be original & this won't apply, but if it's fannish let us know.)

2.) Give credit where it's due. List your references, your resources, or anything that didn't come from your imagination. I'm not saying you need to hand in a bibliography MLA style, but rather that you give others a chance to see where your work came from in order to love it even more.

3.) If you want to post smut, you can link it here, but don't post it here. We like smut, it's fun, but in order to keep this place safe for everyone, we ask that you warn appropriately & link only.

4.) Please don't steal.

5.) Please don't hotlink anything without permission.

6.) Enjoy & use your brain, we will squish you if you do something stupid.
