"Come on," she pleaded. "Just stick it in there!"

"I'm trying," I responded, breathlessly. "It just
doesn't want to go in."

Cameron was sprawled out on the bed with her platinum
blonde hair pulled back in a ponytail, showing off the
dark roots. Anxiously, she waited for me to slide the
large shaft home.

After being apart for nearly two months, this was a
much-anticipated meeting. "Come on," she moaned
again. "You're fucking killing me here!"

"That's it," I said, no longer hiding my frustration.
"I give up." I dropped the large metal shaft I had
been holding for the last 15 minutes. "I didn't come
over here to help you put your furniture back
together. Get your dad to do this shit when he gets
home."

"Good," she said with a smile. "I'm starving. Let's
order some Chinese food to go with that wine."
Cameron hopped off the bed and led the way back
downstairs.

It was the first weekend of summer break, and the two
of us were celebrating a reunion or sorts. Cameron
and I had been friends for as long as I could
remember. We grew up together, and had been nearly
inseparable since the beginning of high school. Over
the last nine months, we had each been away for our
first year of college. Although we talked on the
phone several times a week, this was our first time
hanging out together since Easter.

Yep...I'm only a few days old in terms of familiarity with this website but I came across this fun community. I'm 20, single, and tired of being single. I've only had one girlfriend, but that didn't even last a year and she cheated on me on Valentine's Day, though she does not know that I know. So, the only love I ever had was bittersweet in that respect. I feel that I can do better than that, and I wish somebody would be willing to give me a chance. I try to be dependable; it's something I pride myself on...Practicality is something I highly value, along with loyalty, though I know in a world like today's 'loyalty' seems to be almost like a foreign word that nobody has ever heard of.
I'm in the Triad and I can detail where specifically when I get to know whoever responds favorably to this better. I'm a college kid, so I know the idea of wanting a relationship is kind of something not too common for my demographic, but despite my being a hormonal college male, I am not stereotypical. I believe in decency and plain good ol' fun, not this hoopla and whatnot that my peers delve into. Booze-fests bordering on orgies aren't exactly my style, but I'm sure as I become less socially-shy I'll learn to at least appreciate them as a spectator. I'm just looking for someone who wants casual fun, like going to a small diner / coffeehouse / music-related place / putt-putt even (though I'm quite competitive about mah putt-putt).
