Do we have a remaking of New Amsterdam in Forever? or an attempt to do so?

so far, it's pretty good. (it's like NA without the sex, if i can simplify it)

Can someone help me out with the two messages I got about being added and then removed as a moderator? I don't know how else to ask, but it's very intriguing and I was curious what happened.

Legacy

When a murder victim in Chinatown reminds John of a son he lost in the early 20th century, the investigation leads to a ruthless crime family who are related to his offspring, causing John to reflect on the consequences of his immortality.

Keep the Change

While investigating a homeless man's death and a possible connection with one of the deceased's prized possessions, which he kept at a shelter, John recalls how his addiction problems in the 1960s landed him in a psychiatric ward.

And that was an amazing run on sentence. Good job Comcast tv guide thingy.

Okay guys! I haven't disappeared! I've been working on this. I was gonna wait until I had both the pilot and episode 1 done, so you could examine them side by side, but angstbunny put up a brilliant post, and I felt this would be very helpful towards that discussion.

Here is the scene by scene dialog for the pilot. Anything I couldn't figure out (or that wasn't in English) is in brackets: [mumbling]. I have a similar thing for the first episode, but it's not quite done yet. I'll probably post it by tomorrow.

One last thing: I have included absolutely NO personal comments about what goes on in the pilot. This is meant to be a resource for our discussion, and thus I felt it should only include what is objectively there. If anything here seems bias or subjective to you, please let me know so I can remove it.

neoqbirdie brought up something in a previous post. The preair pilot versus what was actually aired. I'd love to know what people thought, for those who've seen both versions. There is a significant amount of difference.

I'm going to talk with the assumption that if you're reading, you know both versions, but if you haven't seen the pre-air and you'd like clarification or explanation, feel free to ask.
