Everyone listens to some sort of music--it's just a fact of our human nature. But there are only few who view music with passion, and that's what this is.
This place is for people who are into music. Period.
Everyone can:
+Recommend bands, singers, etc. for people if you feel they are worthy enough +Mention concerts, shows, etc. for your local area, state, country, whatever +Post info on bands, singers, etc. about their intentions for their careers, interesting stuff, and blah blah blah +Share the passion
Musicians can: +Post their info +Post their recent accomplishments +Advertise for their shows/projects and things of the sort --Pretty much do anything that goes along with making music--
Losers can: +Join anyway +Do the same as anyone else
!!! Skeptical Person: "What a minute...a community for people who are into music?!?!?! But there are LOTS of different people into VERY diverse styles. How is that supposed to work?"
Mod Answer: Yes, there are lots of genres of music. Open mindedness can be a great thing, but of course not everyone is like that. So all I ask as a mod is to please be respectful--focus on the fact that we all relate to music to get through our lives. That's what I'm trying to make the theme here.
One more thing...
Upon first post, list 5 top bands/singers/groups that you feel represent your genre of music. If you're diverse, pick one from each genre and list it. Then list 5 of your favorites. You should have a grand total of 10. Yes, it's okay if some of the ones you've chosen to represent you go in your favorites list, but don't use the same 5 for both lists.
There is still alot of work to be done here, so if anyone would like to contribute, that would be great.
