Finally!!! We finished the full version of the game.  Big props to the devs.   (I just noticed Davinci Resolve put in some odd glitch in rendering.  I'm keeping it in cause it looks like it adds to the atmosphere.  )

Thank you so much The Gamefather!

Amazing work on this game! I can tell a lot of effort went into creating it. I had a lot of fun playing and exploring everything it had to offer. Keep up the great work! ❤️

Thank you so much princeexp! :D

I really enjoyed the game. I honestly think this has a really good foundation for a longer version of the game that you could jumpstart into a small series if you wanted. I love the fact that you gave it some SCP vibes, and I also love the idea of being punished for choosing wrong. There is definitely a market for people who enjoy that kind of mix of a rage game and a horror game, so you have so much room to grow. I did a video of this for my youtube channel where I give more detail into my thoughts at the end, so if you want to check it out I'll leave the link to my video below. But I would love to see you make another one of these that's even more punishing on the player if you get it wrong! Awesome game, guys! And I think it's definitely worth the price you set.

very scary game

It was an amazing game to play! Cannot wait to play more games from you! 😄

Sadly this was disappointing. You can't chose which door to go through or which fear to face, because half of them will just kill you instantly. This game is about remembering the right door to pass through and don't even think about touching anything the game doesn't want you to touch, otherwise you instantly die and get send back to the beginning. Still supported the creators with the money and I hope that improvements can be made for the game, or at least an accurate description, because facing your fears is far from accurate when the wrong door just means restarting.

Cool Game. Keep up The Good Work.

Thank you so much for playing the game pollojr!

Love the game but almost felt kinda boring but still good!

Hi there, got your bundle (even though I'm short on cash rn) cuz I saw your trailers and really fell in love with the horror concepts (and also I very much envy your skills lol). Honestly, you should be one of those people who make their first million on Steam. I love the atmospheric horror and original ideas and can't wait to try all your games (in the dark). 😉Best of luck!

Thank you so much HorrorGiantess, this means a lot

Ok, I tried Project Threshold...... OOOHMYYYGOOODDD!!!
XD Seriously, dude.. you've got a talent for scaring people. I only made it to room 7 for now, but this is making me want to learn ...what was it, Unity? Cuz this is so damn good.
I work with Renpy, it's known for VNs but it can do much more once you know your Python tricks, although nothing like a 3D game or a 2D platformer (well, you can, it's just crazy hard and will never look as good as on Unity).
I'm squeezing my brain thinking how on Earth I could possibly do something like this on Renpy, but there's just mechanics that would never work.
Loved the "LOOK AT IT" messages etc, it's seriously messing with the player's head. The sitting girl/doll solution was magic, I really liked that one.
I guess the only critique I have for this game is that you can't save between rooms and have to start over and over until you get it right (which however makes this scarier and more unnerving, so that's still a plus.. 😅).
All in all, I'm giving you a 9-10/10, cuz it's been a while since I have played anything this scary and I know people that won't even try it when I suggest they try playing this little terrifying gem. 😉
Seriously well done. Would love to know more about what you used, the dolls/clown/props you used, the process you followed and if you got inspired by some other creator/director/etc.

Hello!

My name is LouieHGames and I'm leaving a comment to let you know that I would love the opportunity to be a voice actor in one of your future projects FOR FREE! My only request is that my channel be named in the credits to help gain some traction on my page.

I don't have any prior voice acting experience or projects under my belt, but I would love to have a minor role (or even a main character if given the chance)!

My YouTube is LouieHGames and my email is louieherod124@gmail.com if you wish to contact me!

Hope I can be useful to you!

Hi. I just wanted to comment the things you can find in the game since I don't see the list of phobias anywhere.
-roaches
- spiders
- ghost/undead(?)
- creepy dolls
- eyes
- surgeons
- mannequins
- holes
- floating heads
- abnormally tall figures
- large bodies of water
- creepy laughing, groaning, squishy noises, ambient sounds

I appreciate this <3

I had a lot of fun playing this! I liked the concept and the idea you couldn't change your mind haha, and trying to remember which door. I look forward to more projects!

CRAZY GAME!

Thank you so much toastie! :D

(+1)

Thanks for the free key!
Got to say coming from the demo this is not too shabby at all! This really does extend quite far and all the new hallways I got to experience were really well done! Also, I still love this concept. Needing to test the waters and see if a door will let you through, or completely kill you. Solid idea for a game and it's been well executed here! Made a video on it.

Thank you so much Spooky!

Choosing each door makes me feel thrilled every time, wondering what I’ll find inside. The jump scares in this game are pretty shocking. Highly recommend giving it a try. 5 stars!

This game had such a simple concept but it was so terrifying I haven’t jumped like that at a game in a while lmao. Great game! I hope it reaches its goal!

Thank you so much Shady Shadi! :D

i loved this game, genuinely made me scared. i had to call my friend to give me emotional support :’) the only thing id say is i was really disappointed when i saw water and assumed it was thalassophobia. that idea would’ve been so much more interesting to see.

Thank you so much lily and giving your honest feedback :D

(+1)

Very fun for a short demo, i'll be getting the full version this weekend and doing another video on that!

Hope you enjoy this one friends! The Don provides!

Thank you so much Gamefather! :D

Hi. Fun and cute short game. I get why one of the other commenters suggested a checkpoint system, it can get a little bit frustrating to die and start from the beginning. But I also like that little challenging aspect to it since it does require some memory and also some precision. If you ever make more levels, then a checkpoint system would be ideal. I did find it a bit confusing on some rooms whether you could survive or not, especially since the some of them are possible to survive regardless of the door while others have enemies that either take up the entire hallway or lock on to the player. Really good graphics too, runs pretty nicely on my Microsoft surface 4 laptop. Hopefully you get the greenlight for the Steam store :)).
Also, I kinda wish I could turn off the floating head 😅

Thank you so much for the wonderful feedback, Erin! I really appreciate thoughtful and constructive feedback like this, it helps us improve and learn a lot as developers. 😊

I'm also happy to share that Project Threshold has officially been greenlit for Steam, so thank you for being one of the many supporters who helped made this happen.

And unfortunately, we can't get rid of our cover star. 😂 He's there for a very important reason. Thanks again for playing and sharing your thoughts! ❤️

I really enjoyed it! The unexpected elements made the game incredible! I can't believe my phobia came at the end XD  Keep it up, Murushii! And thank you for crediting me! such an honor ❤️

Thank you so much Amor!
