My office assistant and I decided to escape the duldrums of the office today to a Thai Restaurant Sabai that our bosses have been raving about for the last few months.
Well I have to say, it was all, if not even more than what they described it to be. Delightful setting in the middle of Oakeway Center. It had a small seating area that was simply decorated with a nice little bar, and a nice outdoor dining area to eat in that was full. We sat at the bar as the the wait for a table was over 20 minutes.
We ordered a delicious cocktail called the Sabai Sabai, which had ginger, mint, and vodka with a wedge of lime
For an appetizer we had Pockets of Love (aka) Pots of Gold which was crab and cream cheese wrapped in rice paper and fried golden. And for lunch I had Pad Him Ma Parn (medium heat) and S had Pad Ke Mao (medium heat) with no peppers. It was delicious, our waiter was nice, talkative, (may have been owner) and the prices were within budget!!
