Palmetto State Star Program
The Miss South Carolina Scholarship Organization believes that there are so many tools in life that are learned through positive influences, social interaction and mentoring. The Palmetto State Stars Program is open to all boys and girls between the ages of 5-12.
These tools include social skills, confidence and good manners, just to name a few. With the values of the Miss America and Miss South Carolina programs, our Palmetto State Star Program specializes in teaching these and many more important aspects that help to contribute to the development of a well-rounded individual. With the help of our Miss South Carolina and Miss South Carolina’s Teen candidate, each Palmetto State Star will have the unique opportunity to share in this mentoring program.
Palmetto State Stars are encouraged to join her mentor in as many appearances, volunteer opportunities and other events as possible. Palmetto State Stars are present the week of the Miss South Carolina and Miss South Carolina’s Teen Pageants. Palmetto State Stars will participate in the production as well as attend promotional events with her mentor. (Note, all STARS are required to participate in the Production Number. Production outfit is a separate fee.)
BECOME A SUPER STAR:
The Palmetto State Super Star is an OPTIONAL program for ages 9-12. This enhanced program will include an interview skills workshop, stage presence and modeling training, an additional service opportunity with Miss South Carolina, and more.
